After deciding on the Zeagle Scout, I found one at Leisure Pro for $100 below retail price. It was a store demo model, so heavily discounted, but in perfect condition! I love this BC and would reccomend it to a friend.

I enjoyed using this BC so much I wore it out. I bought another BC thinking it would be an upgrade and what a mistake!!! As soon as I got home I bought another Scout and look forward to wearing this one out as well. I like the longer inflator hose on this newer version.

This is my favorite recreational BC. I do a lot of pool work and it is just perfect. The rear weights keep the wing from pushing you forward in the water and the pockets are awesome. I went to the express thinking I could improve on a good thing and quickly went back to my Scout. Great for travel. Light weight but with all the comfort and flexibility of many models running twice as much.

This is an excellent BC. It is compact and easy to travel with, yet can accomplish any dive. I use it in cold water as well as warm water. A great alternative to a large tech style BC. Very functional. Everyone in the family uses a Zeagle Scout and loves it.

Sturdy. Light. Compact. Easy to clean. Vents on top and two on the bottom; I like the vent on the bottom, because I can decend while inverted (fun!). This is a very simple BCD; there is NOT much room for expanding this BCD into a tech BC or anything else. I wanted a BCD that would take me just beyond snorkling, and this does it perfectly. I feel very safe and secure in the BCD.

This BC fits great and is minimalist. I have over 40 dives with it and its still basically brand new. Two small issues. First, as others have said the pockets are not super easy to access but do the job for storing a small flashlight. Second, the Tank straps are a bit short. They are fine for 12L aluminium tanks, but the velcro barely fastens with a 12L steel tank.

I bought this because I was a new diver buying all my gear & this was cheap. Since it was the only one I ever used, I didn't know it was holding me back as a diver. The biggest problem is that there is no way to keep the tank from shifting its weight side to side on your back, so you need to swim with your hands to keep from rolling in whichever direction the tank shifts. The cummerbund is awkward, always getting wedged behind your back when you put the BCD on, and with the weight of your tank, it is very hard to bring to the front. Those of you who like to use a weight belt won't mind the lack of integrated weight pockets.

great adjustable BCD. you can change the wing if it's necessary, but it works great for me (warm and recreational diving). the product fits me just fine (I'm 5'11", 65KG). Weight pockets can fit up to 8KG. Overall it's an awesome product.

This bcd is very light, fits in a handbag and is very good for taking to a trip, say, to the caribbean. It is very comfortable and easy to adjust.

This is a quality BC with the essentials for basic diving. The pockets could be a little bigger but they fit a safety sausage or small slate easily. A little bit difficult to get weight belt as this BC sits low.

For a entry level model this BC has all you need. Plenty of ditchable weight capacity for most recreational diving, plenty of D-ring points & 24 # of lift. I've been diving for 18 years & always had jacket BCs; I'll never switch back after having this back inflate. The quality of the Zeagle line is obvious when put side-by-side to the other manufacturers. You cannot go wrong with this [$]- Great Value!

This is a very BC. Like all Zeagle BCs it is well-made and durable. Like all Zeagle BCs it is well-engineered. The BC has only a 24 lb bladder. I needed something bigger. Zeagle fixed me up with a 44lb bladder. I did the installation myself in 15 minutes(a couple of straps). I now have a BC with the lift of the Zeagle Ranger. This is the beauty of Zeagle.

i just purchased on of these and used it last weekend on a drift dive to 90 feet, and i loved it. feels great and the back inflate bladder allows you to maintain a good streamline swim. plenty of metal ring to clip all necessary equipment. simple weight system, just drop a couple of weights in the rear mount pouch and you're ready to go. overall great bc.

This is a light weight BCD. Great as a second BC that I use for traveling. However, it's not so good for cold water diving since it only has a 24 lbs lift capacity. Most people who dive cold water need more than 20 lbs of weight. So I don't recommend use for cold water. Anyone looking for a light weight BC for warm water diving or for traveling to dive tropical water, this is the BC for you. Take up less space in your suit case and weight a little over 5 lbs.

Owned it for almost a year, been using it mostly for shallow (4-123m) coral surveys tropical Indonesia (20-40 hrs). Thanks to its D-rings and low profile design allows more mobility of my hand using several survey equipments. Once had a roll meters, a digital camera, a hammer, nylon strings roll , a slate I all were attached in my BCD !!. Well-balanced distribution in buoyancy not mentioning my first time experiences with a single-bladder BC. Another thing, it is reasonably light and could be stowed inside my suitcase quite neatly several of my travels.

After 20 years of renting BCs at dive resorts (still nothing wrong with this at all) we decided to purchase BCs before a 2 weeks dive vacation. Craftsmanship of Zeagle Scout is superb. This is not weight integrated BC, but it has two weight pockets on the back with release feature. These pockets are totally useless, except they make the BC heavier, more expensive and bulky. Sliding BC on the tank more difficult with these weihgt pockets on. I removed them from mine but left them on my wife's. The cargo pockets are so small and so far back that they are basicaly useless. I managed to keep a small dive light there but getting it in under water is not easy. Despite all this, this is a very good product.

Great BCD for any use. I bought it because it was light and easily packed for travel. It still has a ton of features, including D-rings, pockets, and integrated weights. I actually like having all my weight in the back because it frees up the front for pockets for accessories. Trim and balance are not an issue. Also, the materials used are top notch. Although I have only taken it on a few dives, I see this one lasting a while, even diving 6-7 days a week as a divemaster.

I am a dive instructor and the cost of these BCs and the pros I listed above makes this a great entry level BC. No joke. If you are an experienced diver and dive lots of wrecks or dive deep, this may not be the rig for you but if you are just getting started, it doesn't get any better. I stocked my entire rental line with these BCs...10 in all.

Great well constructed BC. Works great, especially with the optional inflator/second stage. No complaints, but it would be nice if the pockets were a little bigger. Also be forewarned if you need a lot of weight this BC might not be for you. Definitely a great value for the money!
