The Zeagle Ranger is among the best BCDs on the market, hands down. I have over 1,000 dives on mine and recently purchased another one for my 13 year old son. It is incredibly well made and has all of the features you would expect on a high end BCD. It is flexible enough for TEC Diving configurations, rugged enough for Atlantic Wreck Diving and reliable enough to bring to Africa, the Azores and Antarctica. I had it serviced last year and the company did a superb job - all under the lifetime warranty. The Zeagle Ranger is a classic design for a reason. This is the kind of quality worth paying for.

I would never sacrifice quality. This is a quality BC. I mainly solo dive and at depth. It has enough rings for me to be able to clip on two of everything, plus my pony tank. I am very happy with this purchase. I write all reviews after I have used the product for at least a year or two. I have about 60 dives on this BC.

Overall I like this BCD. Would be nice if removeable pockets came with the BCD. Also a separate shoulder dump would nice on the right shoulder. I know it is redundant but I like to use the right shoulder dump when descending vertically.

Good BC. Logts lof clips to hang extra gear from. I wsih it had the fourth relief valve on the righ shoulder, though not necessary wiht the two on the bottom and the one activated by pulling on the manual inflate connector.

After diving with a very inexpensive, jacket-style BCD for the past 8 years, the Ranger is an absolute pleasure. Very comfortable and locking in good trim is a breeze. I thought I was going to have a difficult time transitioning to a wing, but with weight in the trim pockets, time at the surface is stable and then trim at depth is precise. The loss of the air bladder under the arms is much more streamlined and allows for more freedom of movement than a jacket. The only recommendation is to measure yourself based on the criteria on Zeagle's website. I used Leisure Pro and originally ordered a large. It was way too big and after using Zeagle's criteria, I was clearly a medium. However, in true Leisure Pro fashion, exchanging the BCD for the correct size was very easy.

The BCD is really great specially that i don't have to wear a weight belt any more With my size and shape it was always a problem putting on my weight belt Now i put all the needed weight in the BCD pockets

I have been diving for over 25 years and this BCD has to be in the top 5 I have ever used. It is totally reconfigurable for different set-ups. Very comfortable, plenty of attachment points and weight/storage compartments. I would highly recommend this product for any advanced diver.

The product seems to work quite well but two things bothered us from the start. 1) - The rip cord systems had not been put together at all and... 2) - Since the expected User manual did not set sent with the product we had to spend 30 minutes on a ling distance call from Costa Rica to get it setup and finally get the link to an online manual. (And - NO - 800 numbers are NOT FREE from Central America)

I was told that as a beginner I would't like the rear bladder design because it would not float upright on the surface, but this BCD is easy to adjust. I did not have any trouble. Also, easy to adjust to fit.

One of the best BCD's I have ever used. very durable plenty of metal D rings to clip things. very comfortable and easy to adjust The BCD is designed to be fully adjustable and fits like a glove. Best Part Made in the USA!!!!I bought Zeagle Octo-Z Alternate Air Source as a package deal...well worth it and they made it so easy to install the alternate air source.... I love it

Just Solid ... I was debating between the Stiletto and Ranger. Glad I went with the Ranger. I worried about additional bulk for travel but it is negligible. In addition it gives more options that the stiletto. Great purchase. Zeagle puts out a quality product. Only down size was that I think the yellow wieght bags should be included. Add another $40 to purchase these.

Incredible BCD. I used quite a few before buying this one. Back inflatable is the way to go. The Zeagle Ranger is cut very full and has multiple D rings to attach gear to. Easy to make adjustments. Buy the crotch strap to keep it in place when doing more technical dives.

I took this BCD out for 20 dives on my last excoursion and it performed very well, my only complaint is how bubble seem to get trapped in the inflator hose, and where the 2 bladders connect behind your neck. The first few dives i was having some bouyancy issues because i didnt realize that my BC wasnt completely empty. Overall, very good BCD. wouldnt trade it for anything.

I have 5 BCD's From Tec Harness's to Sidemounts Harness's to regulular single tank back mount gas! I love this BCD it is very comfortable, well layed out, built well/rugged and not to mention- Zeagle's lifetime warranty!!! This is in my oppinion the best BCD made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prior to this, I had only rented BC's and they sucked. With integrated weight system and no side bags, it gives a Very comfortable buoancy. I love it.

Can't ask for a better ready to go BC! I've been diving with my Ranger for about 7 years and it's in my opinion the most well rounded BC out there. I'm a decent sized guy and the fit and function of the Ranger are top notch. The only drawback it has, is it's tendency to push you forward on the surface but that is common with all of the back inflating BCs. As a divemaster, dealing with students, you tend to get up close and personal when trying to adjust the student's gear or demonstrating a skill but below the surface, the Ranger keeps the diver on a nice level plan. I lean back and rest on the bladder on the surface. This keeps me from bumping masks with the students and gives that laid-back look!
