Zeagle Base BCD

I am old school and prefer a jacket without integrated weights and with large pockets. This BC met those requirements. It fits pretty well. I am between the XL and 2XL on the chart and had to exchange the 2XL because it was too big. I used it for a week of diving and found it worked well. The only problem is that it doesn't tend to keep me upright in the water when inflated on the surface. It would be better if it had trim weight pockets on the back.

This BC is not sized correctly. I'm 5'11" & 198 lbs and I was swimming in the size large. The BC inherently has poor tank stabilization due to the body strap and cummerbund design. Scuba.com was great in taking it back on return with their great fit guarantee policy. Thanks Scuba.com!!

Great BC for a first purchase. It?s their entry model and it is better than I expected. Nice large pockets, tank mount easily, and it?s a comfortable wear. I like being able to remove the inflater to rinse the BC after a dive. I?m 6? 200 pounds and I bought a large. They run a bit big and had I bought a medium it would have fit perfect.

I trained with this BC. I really enjoy it. I feel like it is simpler with plenty of features to secure your items while diving. Sizing chart is quite accurate.

I'm not sure about most people, but I like a simple vest I can add on to and take stuff away as needed for dives. This vest being made out of great material without all of the cool selling high priced integrated points makes it great for divers like me who want a basic vest for work or play that they can add onto when needed or just go in simple for short or fun dives.

I have not had a chance to use it yet. But they appear to be sturdy and well made. It is comfortable on and comes will all needed parts and hose. Plan to dive in the next two weeks and will give update once I get it wet.

This is a great BCD and I got an awesome price! Fellow seasoned scuba divers were jealous that I got such a great deal! I'm 5'6", 150 lbs and size small fit me just fine. When I wore a waist belt with weights, it seemed to "ride" the BCD up a bit so I ended up putting weights in the velcro pockets of the BCD and it worked fine. The adjustable straps made it fit me perfectly. BCD arrived on time and I was put at ease with the fact that I could have returned it for no cost for a different size if it didn't fit.

Zeagle makes exceptional dive gear. I have a Ranger BCD with over 1,000 dives on 4 continents, including Antarctica. It's tough, reliable and very well made with a Lifetime Warranty that they honor. With that in mind, I purchased the Zeagle Base for my 12 year old son. He's got about 10 dives on it so far and loves it. The medium (currently) fits him well and is sufficiently adjustable that I hope to get at least a couple of years out of it. This is a "few frills" jacket-style BCD made for the rental market, which typically turns their gear over every year or so. It is not weight integrated. This is NOT a Ranger, but is a great value for an entry level diver.

I’ve been diving with zeagle Rangers, Stilettos and Zena’s. This is a basic BCD that is not weight integrated but has some pockets that can used for weights. My big complaint is the sizing. I ordered two smalls and when compared to all my other BCDs these base model smalls are near a large in terms of how they fit as a jacket. It may be that not all that room is taken up by the air bladder however the sizing is drastically too large

Purchased this BCD and used it June 25th 2020 for scuba certification. Great product for the price ($160), but had to get a weight belt because there is no integrated weight pockets. After using the belt I actually prefer it because it helps with snorkeling buoyancy. The quality is good, durable and easy to manage for a beginner like myself. Its not a complicated system. It also comes with a bag to carry it in.

The Zeagle Base bcd is great value for the money. It is very well made. The sizes are accurate. The XL size is huge & a large would have been just fine or me. It's the best priced BCD around. I give it a 5 star rating

BCD is very nicely made. Plenty of D rings. Nice style. Only one problem they sent a large size which is what I ordered. And the tag says large, only problem is it is a XLarge. I had to use for a dive that had been scheduled so i cant return it. Very unhappy with this purchase. Be careful when you order these must be irregulars that they are selling.

A very simple BC. For the money a great value. The biggest drawback is that it does not have integrated weight pouches.
