The XS Scuba M-Line 3D flex snorkel was a perfect match for the snorkeling I was doing. The valve functioned without fail - the ability to expel unwanted water was dependable and reliable. My only issue was with the clip to the mask- here for the value and function of the snorkel- this could have been better made from a heavier plastic material.

This is an excellent piece of equipment. Worked perfectly for snorkeling in high surf conditions. I love being able to easily detach my mask from the snorkel. Mouthpiece is comfortable.

I owned the previious version of this snorkel made under the Ocean Master name and loved it, until it finally developed a crack after years of use. After much searching and comparing new dry snorkels, I found the XS Scuba M-Line 3D Flex Dry. It works the same as my trusty old snorkel, but is that much more comfortable with its flexible tube and new silicone mouthpiece. It's so good that it makes me forget that I am not really a mermaid who can breathe underwater unaided. This snorkel is the next best thing.

It works very well and draws easy for a dry snorkel. One of the best snorkeling experiences I have ever had.

Great snorkel! Works EXACTLY as described!? The auto valve closes every time, never had any water flood the tube! I won’t use any other snorkel but this one!

Fantastic. I just used this snorkel all week in the Florida Keys. I don't understand using anything BUT a dry snorkel! Flex tube is great too.

I thought this would be as good as the ocean master 3D dry snorkle. It's not. I will continue to look for the ocean master version

Whenever a wave overtops the snorkel, its inlet valve seals off without allowing any noticeable amount of water into the snorkel. The purge valve also seals off without allowing any back-leakage. I have been using this type of snorkel from XS Scuba or its predecessor (Ocean Master) for over 20 years (averaging 10 uses per year when snorkeling on vacation) and have never experienced any problems.

Very comfortable mouthpiece so it's quiet enjoyable to use. It also doesn't flood so it's better than the other types of snorkels. Highly recommend this one!

This is the best snorkel made. Period. It never leaks water into the snorkel and it purges easily. I threw all my other snorkels away.

I am slowly upgrading all of my equipment. I have been using an ancient snorkle so I am really looking forward to using this (new to me) dry snorkle. Very nice looking, well-made and comfortable. I was concerned it might be top heavy with the one-way valve at the top but was pleasantly surprised to find that it is not at all. I just purchased this snorkle so I have not had an opportunity to try it out so I cannot speak to it's performance but look forward to testing it out.

This is a terrific snorkel! My only request would be a smaller mouth piece. It's too large for me and my 2xl boyfriend as well. I used it, but it causes mouth fatigue. I will try to purchase a smaller mouth piece, because the snorkel is so good!

The float that closes the air when the snorkel is under the water doesn't seal very well. At least the one I got didn't. I have an Aqualung Impulse Dry Flex snorkel and wanted to get one for my daughter, but they are kind of expensive, so I tried this. Definitely not the same quality snorkel as the Aqualung version, so I sent it back and got the Aqualung.

The minute I got in the water it started leaking ! After playing with it in the middle of the ocean I realized that the purge valve was leaking ! Not cool. I would like to think that it was just a bad snorkel in the bunch and NOT the series itself. It did come with a 10 year warranty, so i will be returning it asap.

I snorkel weekly and it is a lot drier than my old snorkel. Not totally dry in heavy windchop, which is to be expected, but is pretty close. Very easy to purge. The only downside is that I need a smaller mouthpiece. Other than that it was worth the money.

I personally didn't like this snorkel for spearfishing. Water kept coming in through the purge valve causing me to swallow on an inhale every now and then. I found myself biting harder on the mouth piece to keep it from moving, which caused fatigue in my jaw. However, the mouthpiece was soft and comfortable, I was just overcompensating for snorkel movement. Also, the flexible material is a bit too soft/flexible and causes the snorkel to move with every wave. I'll be going back to my standard J US Divers snorkel that i bought 3 years ago.

This snorkel actually stays dry when you go under. No need to purge. Comfortable on mouth. Not awkward at all.
