Might be a good hose. I have other Miflex hoses and love them but just be aware, this does NOT fit Hydros Pro with Air 2.

I love the MiFlex hoses. They are lighter and can be transported more compactly. They make it easier to set up my gear. When attached to a second stage, their great flexibility does not tug my regulator out of my mouth like some stiffer hoses.

What is not to love about the MIFLEX hose? Light weight, super strong and classic in its appearance. The hose any serious diver would want on their regulator rig.

The weight is very important in scuab diving and the Miflex is excelent.

Works perfectly. Used for Mares Hybrid AT BCD b/c the included BCD hose was WAY too short.

Perfect for diving. 40 inch goes right under my right arm pit. Don't even know it is there. Great buy for any diver.

Well built hose. If you have a regulator set that is starting to get old this is the way to go. This hose adds a nice, professional look to your regulator set.

Flex hoses are the way to go. Much easier to use IMHO. The hose seems well made and works as intended.

It works very smoothly when I plug in and off. Surely the hose itself is soft. I like this. Now all my hoses are miflex.

For years I felt that my primary hose was too long and constantly putting pressure on my mouthpiece. That with the fact that I lobster quite a bit and am always hitting this on rocks when I'm searching for bugs eventually caused my mouthpiece to fail. Instead of getting a shorter tube the dive store recommended this. I do love this flex hose, yeah it's more expensive but certainly puts less strain on me and is far more flexible.

Switched to Miflex on my power inflator hose and backup reg hose and so far I'm very pleased. Miflex is definitely more flexible than a standard rubber hose and is perfect for tighter hose routing. The hoses tend to want to retain their natural "coil" so this may make them less idea for longer hoses (I still use a standard hose on my 5' primary regulator. I also use standard HP hoses since the Miflex MP have had problems in the past. I think Miflex is great for shorter LP hoses like backup reg, primary non-long hose reg, inflator, or for stage bottle regs.

Feel more secure using this durable hose in any circumstances. Lacks the option of colors to match your BCD or Suite.

Miflex hoses are great. They are lighter, more flexible and more durable than rubber hoses. Yes, they are more expensive, but they will outlast rubber, will save some weight for travelling, and most importantly, they will allow streamlined hose routing that's not possible with rubber. Does that mean you should go out and replace all of your hoses? Of course not, but as I buy new hoses, I now only buy miflex. For the overall cost of your dive gear, an extra $20 for a hose, which is a pretty critical piece of your equipment, is merely a drop in the bucket, and you can't go wrong with these.

Replacing standard hoses with Miflex hoses makes your regulator lighter and more flexible (in terms of curling it up into tighter spaces), but after that the upside is limited. Their flexibility means you can get away with a shorter hose than a traditional rubber hose, but to be honest, if you do not travel a lot, I am not sure that the combined upsides are worth the additional cost. One other minor plus side: you don't need hose protectors, because the braiding does not fatigue the way that traditional rubber hoses do.

The XS Scuba MiFlex Hoses feature a patent pending double nylon safety braiding designed to outperform and outlive traditional rubber hoses. MiFlex hoses are 30% lighter than an equivalent length rubber hose and have unmatched flexibility. You can tie a MiFlex hose in a knot and be assured of continuous, uninterrupted airflow. MiFlex hoses have a minimum burst pressure of 3600 psi (248 bar), more than twice rubber hoses.
Every hose is subjected to more than 30 performance and safety tests to receive the EN250 Certification. Hose fittings are manufactured from UNI 12164 CW 614N chrome plated brass and the hoses are oxygen cleaned from the factory. The anatomy of the MiFlex hose is its secret to its durability and flexibility. The double braided nylon outer jacket is tightly bound and fixed to the hose inner core. The hose has an inner liner layer of polyester and a polyurethane compound liner. These materials make the hose resistant to UV rays out of the water extending the life span of the hose. The hose is available in multiple lengths from 14" to 36" (35.6cm to 91.4cm), has an external diameter of 0.47" (12mm) with an internal diameter of 0.26" (6.5mm).
