Tool is hard too remove from case. Screws arent adjustable enough to attach to our BCD. Had to use the hose attachment. Need both hands to remove from case.

I think this tool makes an ideal second knife for diving. I wear a large knife on my leg and mount this on my BC. I've added a wrist lanyard to it also. One modification I've made is to dull under the scissor tip so I can slide it under a tight strap or line and not cut the surface the tool is sliding on (like paramedic sheers).

The knife portion of this XS Scuba Mini FogCutter is great. The knife is sharp and the scissors work well. Will easily cut through rope or line. Nice compact design. The sheath for this knife on the other hand is junk... Sorry to say XS Scuba, but I think it needs to be Redesigned. XS SCUBA usually makes a great product, That's why I was sad to see this poorly designed sheath. I think it should've been designed more like there full size knife (XS Scuba FogCutter Recon Knife). The blade on this knife is off to one side of the handle, it's not dead center. So when you reholster this knife, one way feels like it might fall out and if you flip the knife over and put it in that way, it's a lot harder to get out. Working with this knife underwater it is very hard (if not impossible) to get out with gloves on. I ended up not using the factory sheath and make my own sheath out of Kydex.

XS Scuba's Mini Fog-Cutter Knife is one versatile divers' tool. The unique design allows the diver to use tool as a knife with a straight edge and a serrated edge which can also double as a sew. It also is equipped with a line cutter and its blunt tip can be used as a flat blade screwdriver. Release the handle latch and you now have a pair of scissors that can cut most anything. This smaller version of XS Scuba's Fog-Cutter is compact and low-profile so it can be mounted in a variety of ways and kept close at hand. Mount on your BCD or a high-pressure hose are just two great mounting options.
Built to last with its 420-stainless-steel blade that is chromate treated for rust prevention just rinse with fresh tap water and you're ready for its next use. Knife blade measures 3.25" (8.3cm) with an overall length of 6.5" (16.5cm); included with the Mini Fog-Cutter Tool is an easy release, positive locking sheath for a secure and quick access to this great tool.
