I am a commercial diver and I switch all my LP hoses to MiFlex hoses. They stand up to heavy use and I have never had one fail in any way. I also like that I can get many different lengths. I run my regulator hose under my arm so I need a 36? hose and that works great. I highly recommend MiFlex hoses.

I love the MiFlex hoses. They are lighter and can be transported more compactly. They make it easier to set up my gear. When attached to a second stage, their great flexibility does not tug my regulator out of my mouth like some stiffer hoses.

My wife, daughters and I have been using MiFlex high pressure and low pressure hoses since 2009. I always recommend my students to immediately replace the factory rubber hoses with MiFlex, which nearly all of them do, for their comfort, flexibility and long life. We are not personally aware of any difficulties or failures with either the hi or low pressure hoses. In fact we are still diving our original low pressure hoses. We replaced our hi pressure hoses during the 2012 recall and are still using them in 2020. As an instructor and tec divers we may not survive a hose failure. Plus you can imagine how much use and abuse these hoses get: Students pulling and twisting them while trying to master air sharing skills, from chlorinated pool water, muddy lake water to the Red Sea, Pacifica, Caribbean, CA and Mexico...All that travel, all those years and use and they still look new. a great and flexible hose. Have converted all my regs to Miflex hoses and that are great. No problems yet with breakdown. Seem significantly lighter than the rubber hoses (every oz counts when traveling).

Very flexible hose. With my old hose when I turned my head the regulator pulled at my mouth, this one does not. Very very pleased!

I would recommend MiFlex hoses to all divers, more flexible and causes lest fatigue.

I purchased the miflex hose because hoses should be changed every 5 years or less .Sun , salt water will kill your rubber hoses even though I wash all my gear in fresh water and dried . This is proactive . I do my wreck diving off the cold dark waters of New Jersey . My gear takes a beating . Every 2 years my gear gets sent to Leisure pro for my Factory Services . Before a big dive traveling trip like Truk Lagoon , Cocos Island of the Sharks -Tahiti . They get serviced at LeisurePro quick turnaround time . All my old part replaced are also Returned .

Probably don't save that much in weight but fit is the best. Reg packed much easier/smaller with Myflex. Hoses themselves worked like a dream

I won't use any other braided hose! Miflex is worth the money.

The hose lightweight and durable. It is good for travel and on tech gear. Do not need a 90° elbow for this hose very flexible.

I like a relatively short primary reg hose, which can exaggerate problems with the hose pulling or twisting the reg when it's in the mouth. I've tried just miflex, miflex with an add-on 60-degree fitting, and miflex with an add-on ball joint. This is far and away the most comfortable.

I love the flexible aspect and the length. Just this weekend, I had to buddy breath because my buddy was underweighted by 10 pounds and he used a lot of air just to stay down. I worked great as the length allowed us to have a little distance from the other. The flexible hose makes retrieval of the regulator a breeze. Will never dive without a 48 inch flex hose again.

Looks like a decent hose but didn't fit my regulator (Aeris 600 ion) due to the swivel fitting. Wish it would've worked but it was returned.

Great upgrade to my regulator set-up
By Fitz
I bought these for my primary and Octo, they coil alot easier than the originals and there was no regulator pull even though the primary.hose is a couple of inches shorter than the original. These hoses are a bit smaller in diameter so my old hose protecters don't fit as snug but I don't believe I will need them anyway.
Best hose for a pony bottle
By Doug
I have heard all the pros and cons of Miflex hoses, and in the end felt it was, as one person described it, a solution looking for a problem. Existing rubber hoses are more than sufficiently good enough. Why change from something that works to something else that also works. However, I needed a new hose to use on my pony bottle. Miflex hoses are so flexible, they can easily survive the longterm storage folded up along side the tank without sticking 6-8 inches out from the first stage. Th...

MiFlex hoses are 30% lighter than an equivalent length rubber hose and have unmatched flexibility. You can tie a MiFlex hose in a knot and be assured of continuous, uninterrupted airflow. MiFlex Hoses have a minimum burst pressure of 3600 psi (250 bar), more than twice rubber hoses. Every hose is subjected to more than 30 performance and safety tests to receive the EN250 certification. Hose fittings are manufactured from UNI 12164 CW 614N chrome plated brass. The MiFlex Low Pressure Hose is available in multiple lengths and colors to fit any diver's needs. Hoses range from 6" to 1,200" (15.2cm to 3,048cm) and have an external diameter of 0.47" (12mm) with an internal diameter of 0.26" (6.5mm). Hoses come in a premium packaging that doubles as a water-resistant document wallet.
