The first time I tried to deploy it, we were hanging on an ascent line in strong current with three divers. The diver ball on the surface was pulled down to the 50' depth by the force of the current on three divers. I tried to deploy the bag, but with the current running sideways, I could not get a usable about of air past the tiny funnel. It was of no use. The next deployment, a 20" weight bobbing in 2 to 3 foot seas caused the fabric to tear. I am trying to repair it, but I am not sure it will be a usable tool. I am a working diver. I need a rugged lift bag that inflates quickly in harsh conditions and strong currents. This one did not pass muster.

I have been an instructor for 30 years. I primarily use a lift bag for search and recovery classes. This is a good back and has straps to hold it closed for carrying. I won't buy a back without an over-pressure/dump valve. This is the first I have had with an oral/lp hose inflator option. I may not use that much as most bags have an open bottom. I do wish the dump valve cord tan to the bottom to allow controlling the buoyancy from the bottom. The rings are also nice.

This bag has been on hundreds of dives with me and still performs like it was brand new. My only complaint is that a little bit of water always ends up in the bag, no matter how careful I am.

Pretty good bag. Well built and worth the money spent, but lacking one good feature. I'm not fond of the fully open bottom. I'd prefer it if it had a one way opening like other bags/smb's. Playing around with it, it went sideways on the surface and partially filled with water. Good bag, but wouldn't use it as a primary.

This lift bag works great! Never a doubt that well get our catch bags (scallops) off the bottom. Its also very durable. I would highly recommend to others.

Overpressure relief valve doesn't seem to dump extra air. Otherwise, does what it is suppose to: inflates well, folds nicely and doesn't take much space.

The included velcro strap to roll it up is nice, but it would be much better if it could be rolled up to a size that would fit in a normal BC pocket.

Nice bag; easy to carry on you - especially with large carabiner attached. Does the job. Dump lanyard needs to be longer. The design at the base of the bag - that keeps the bag from dumping air at the surface if filled too full - has a drawback: keeps water in the bag when you try and lift it into boat. I have to unscrew air dump valve and drain water thru it. A little inconvenient. Otherwise good bag. I would buy another.

Great lift bag that's easy to use. Kind of bulky in a thigh pocket, but I wouldn't carry a less bulky brand that's not as well made. XS Scuba products are known for their innovation and quality, this bag is no different.
