The compass seems really good, The hose connection is not adjustable

I got this to attach to my high pressure hose that connects my pressure guage. The hoses this is designed for must be gigantic. Admittedly my High pressure hose has a small O.D. but it was still pretty loose even trying it on one of my low pressure hoses. I would worry that it would come disconnected, but it does slide up and down the hoses pretty freely. I used some rubber splicing tape (not vinyl) to build up the diameter and keep it securely in place. I might buy the retractor if that doesn't work out but what I have seems like an ok solution.

When you need an add-on compass...

This type compass fills a need if you don't have one on your computer or your console. I had a regulator with a two gauge console. I wanted to get a new console and add the compass but I did not see one available. This mounts on the HP hose. I don't like that it has to bee so far from the console but that is a design issue. The compass is a good compass. It tolerates a lot of tilt which is important in this mounting. It is easy to clean and easy to read. The compass headings on the card make 90 degree turns a snap.It is priced well. It is also a good solution if you need a backup in case of compass failure.

Fits super flex hoses too

Wanted to avoid wrist mount compass for accuracy and ease of use. Attached this to my super flex hose of my SPG easily and securely. I can hold it in position in use without having to contort or take it off my wrist for easy and accurate navigation.

Many divers take compasses for granted, considering them just an accessory to an overall dive gauge console system. Trying to navigate with a poorly designed or improperly functioning compass can be one of diving's more frustrating events. The XS Scuba Hose Mount Super Tilt Compass is a dual-purpose compass. The convenient side window allows quick reference of large, easy-to-read bearing indicators on a luminescent display for gun-sight accuracy. Or, for divers who prefer relative navigation, the ratchet bezel can be rotated easily even with thick neoprene gloves.

The luminous dial of the compass is designed with a half black / half luminous graphic to make quick work of compass direction, especially in dim light. The dial rests on a precision bearing and incorporates extremely strong magnets for super quick response, tilt and accuracy. While the compass module itself is very compact, the housing has a large vertical interior allowing viewing angles that would stop other compasses in their tracks. The compass bezel has compass headings in 30 Degree numbered increments and indicator marks for every 10 Degree.

Bezel has twin heading indicators for alignment of compass course, and a lubber line across the compass face. This highly accurate US made GP03 liquid filled compass comes in a durable rubber boot with a hose mount nut that fits full size 0.5" (12mm) high pressure hoses.
