Kudos for Leisure Pro Customer Service; not so much for XS Quality Control

System will probably work great, but XS has some quality control problems. Leisure Pro has been GREAT. Ordered the equalizer and discovered leaks at both ends of the HP hose, Leisure Pro exchanged is with no questions asked. Received a second unit, but it had the same problems. Once again Leisure Pro stepped up to the plate with no problems doing the exchange. I'm awaiting a third unit. Other than the leaks, the gear appears to be of solid construction. I really hope the third time will be the charm. I really like the design. Unlike some of the reviews, I found NO problem w/ the speed of gas transfer. The gauge and fittings are quality made. Looking forward to a unit that is properly sealed at both ends of the HP hose. FIVE STARS for Leisure Pro Customer Service. Will reserve judgement on the XS equalizer until I receive my replacement unit, but there is clearly a quality control issue to be solved by XS. Recommend you immediately test out your XS Cylinder Equalizer when it arrives, because you may need to send it back.

About XS Scuba Deluxe Cylinder Equalizer

The safe and easy way to transfer gas from one cylinder to another. Great for filling pony bottles. Both ends can be used on K valves as well as 200 bar and 300 bar DIN valves. Simply unthread the yoke adapter to expose the DIN connector. It has a large 2.75" (7cm) diameter, stainless-steel case gauge which provides dual scale psi and bar. The large, stainless steel bleed screw is replaceable. For use with up to 40% oxygen premixed.

The XS Scuba Deluxe Cylinder Equalizer consists of high-pressure gauge with a dual scale of 0 to 5000 psi (0 to 350 bars), has a custom fit silicone compound gauge boot that includes hole in top for over-pressure plug and protects the gauge from mild impact. The bleed screw PDVF seal gives years of reliable service. The braided HP hose has a thin diameter of 0.32" (8mm) and is 60" (152cm) in length.
