LAURA N : I built a gear drying rack out of 1.75 inch PVC (schedule 40) pipe. Will this hanger fit on this?Mario C : Hey Kevin, thanks to get back to me. Will add your findings here as it may help another customer in the future. Those hanger will work with 1 3/4 pipe just right, meaning the opening is just 1 3/4 even though it goes in, it has a bit of resistance. thank you for the great question and answer!!Mario C : Hi Kevin, thank you for your question. Unfortunately i do not have access to items during the store closure period for measurements that are not already on the manufacturer catalog or website. Shopper : how much weight are these rated for?WILLIAM S : I don't know how much weight the hanger is rated fo but it easily holds my Cressi travel BCD, which weighs about 5 lbs, without flexing. The hanger looks substantial and I would think that it could handle a heavier BCD without a problem, It sure beats wire hangers and most other hangers since the upturned "arms" keep the BCD from sliding off. BillWILLIAM S : I'm not sure how much weight they are rated for. You may have to contact XS scuba directly for that information. I will say it is very sturdy and should handle the weight of your BC with no problems.COREY R : Not a clue, however it holds my wetsuit (when wet). Also I have used it with my BC (with 12 pounds of weight in the pockets without issue.ANDREY K : I am not the manufacturer so I dont have the specs but I used it as pull-up bar and it handled over 145 pounds.KEVIN G : This hanger is super heavy duty. I have two of them. About the only thing you could hang from it that might break it is a scuba tank :-)IVAR B : Although I don't know the actual answer to that question, I certainly have not had any issues hanging a complete BCD and extra equipment on it. I believe that the issue would be if the hook or closet bar that you hang it from can take the weight you put on it.BRYAN D : I don't know how much weight they're rated for but mine is very sturdy. I hang my BC and my regulators on until they dry then I store the regs in my regs bag. I don't leave weights in my BC when I hang it up on this hangar but I am certain that the hanger itself is sturdy enough to do that. It's the dowel in my closet that I hang it on that may not be sturdy enough for that.ADRIAN B : Hello I have not seen the rated weight but I have hung my wet 7mm long sleeve suit, along with regulator, computer and bc to dry with no problems at all. Produc is very sturdy and has some weight to it which gives you confident. Hope this works for you
