This console computer has more features than you'll probably ever need, has a great display which is easy to read under water, and is very compact. My only problem is that after about 60 dives over 3 years it flooded. Warranty is 2 years so I'm out of luck. Hopefully I'm the exception and this doesn't happen to others. I would think a $1000 computer should last more than 60 dives before a catastrophic failure.

Over the years, I have owned an ORCA EDGE, Phoenix, and Marathon. I switched to a SmartCom 20 years ago. 5 years ago I switched again to a G2. It is the best dive computer I used over the years. I especially like the ability to set level stops. I had issues with my SmartCom with leaking at the quick connect, but with more than 100 dives on my G2, I have not had an issue with it.

I'm a bit disappointed. My wife and I have been on 2 dives with it so far. Setup was not as easy as it could be. It needs a quick start guide for recreational divers, since most of the manual looks geared toward mixed gas divers. The manual is terrible and LogTRAK software even worse (at least if you are a Mac user). You cannot personalize your computer without using LogTRAK and an iPhone. Fortunately it works with MacDive. The screen is a lot smaller than I am used to. The screen always dims after a set time, but there is no always bright option. The safety stop time is not displayed in contrasting color, like many other features. I've apparently been spoiled by our Atomics Cobalts, which are discontinued. These are OK--they do what they say they do--but if I had been aware of the above before buying, I would have considered the Oceanic Pro Plus X.

Easy to Manage:
Bluetooth compatible, the G2 easily syncs with your PC, Mac, Android, or iPhone. The G2 Stores up to 1,000 hours of dive profiles. And its rechargeable battery lasts up to 50 dives.

With innovative technology and a thoughtful, intuitive design, Scubapro created the next generation of the Galileo just for you. Customize your screen, colors, orientation, and even the attachments to make the G2 truly your own. Customized menu listings give you the ability to use as much or as little of the technology as you want-with easy activation of trimix, CCR and side-mount modes without downloading or upgrading required. The G2 is poised to quickly become the favorite computer for all divers of all skill levels and goes wherever your passion for diving takes you. Even your dive profile is one of a kind-based upon your real-time breathing rate, your skin temperature, and your heart rate.
Enjoy the convenience of air integration with the high-pressure hose that screws into a 7/16" threaded high pressure port on your first stage and relays tank pressure and true remaining bottom time (RBT) to the computer screen. Pressure display provides a pressure readout from 0 to 4,350 psi (300 bars). The G2 computer uses the ZH-L16 ADT MB algorithm. Predictive Multi-Gas ZHL-16 ADT MB algorithm programs up to 8 nitrox/trimix mixes to handle any recreational or technical diving scenario. Algorithm calculates true remaining bottom time (RBT), offers a series of microbubble levels and incorporates profile dependent intermediate stops. The Scubapro G2 has an operating altitude with decompression sea level to approximately 13300' (4000m). Without decompression (Gauge mode) at any altitude. Maximum operating depth is 394' (120m) with a resolution is 0.1 until 99.9m, and 1m at depth deeper than 100m. Resolution in feet is always 1'. Decompression calculation range is 3' to 394' (0.8m to 120m). Clock is a quartz clock, provides time, date, dive time display up to 999 minutes. Oxygen concentration is adjustable between 8% and 100%. Helium concentration: adjustable between 0% and 92%. The computers operating temperature is 14 Degree F to 122 Degree F (-10 Degree C to +50 Degree C). Computers power supply is a lithium-ion battery that is user chargeable via USB. Included with the G2 Console with quick release are a read first manual, 3M foil screen protector, and USB. The new G2. Simply smarter and easily more vibrant; you'll never do another dive without it.
