Most dependable regulator I have ever used!
As a professional underwater cinematographer I need equipment that just works - this regulator never lets me down. It delivers tons of air. I have never felt and kind of pull from it even when working deep and swimming hard. Its compact design is well out of my way and the bubble stay out of my face. Loads for HP an LP ports on the MK25 make any configuration easy to set up.
The Scubapro MK25 EVO and G260 combo provides an ultra-high airflow system for peak performance in all temperatures and diving conditions. As a leader in piston-controlled first stages, Scubapro's MK25 EVO continues this legacy with patented features for unmatched performance. Its balanced piston first stage ensures ultra-stable intermediate pressure for consistently high air delivery, allowing carefree dives at any tank pressure and water temperature.
The air balanced, flow-through piston first stage delivers more air to the second stage, unaffected by changing tank pressures. This design allows lighter, more sensitive components for ultra-fast breathing response and high airflow, especially in low tank pressure ranges. This makes it ideal for demanding sport divers and professionals in both warm and cold-water environments.
The MK25 EVO features two 7/16" threaded opposite high-pressure ports for flexible hose arrangement, enhancing diving comfort. With five 3/8" threaded high flow low-pressure ports on a swiveling turret, it allows 360 Degree hose swivel for ultimate freedom. Authorized Scubapro technicians can easily fine-tune the first stage after maintenance without disassembly.
Cold water diving requires resistance to freezing. The MK25 EVO uses Scubapro's Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS) to meet EN250-2014 cold water diving requirements. It surpasses these standards, increasing freezing resistance by 30% over previous models. New design features include a proprietary thermal insulating coating, encapsulating main spring bushing, and patented finned cap with body fins for optimal cold-water diving.
This system offers cold-water performance equal to Scubapro's MK17 first stage. The MK25 EVO is made from marine-grade chrome plated brass, demonstrating Scubapro's commitment to quality. The G260 balanced adjustable second stage features metal components for excellent cold-water resistance, making it a top choice for demanding divers. With a high flow exhaust valve and orthodontic mouthpiece, the regulator ensures optimal breathing comfort in any condition. Weighing 38.8 oz (1,100 g), the regulator comes with an owner's manual.
