Shopper : do they come in half size, normally i wear a 10.5?darrick c : Hello, no, these do not come in half sizes you would want to round up to the size 11.

ROBIN W : Can neoprene socks be worn with these boots to add more insulation? I will be diving in Lake Superior where top water temps will be in the 30’s. It only gets colder as you dive. My shoe size is 8.5 and I wear a Size 9 boot because there were no half sizes. When water temperatures drop below 45 degrees, I add 3mm neoprene socks. Good booties & good fit

Fit was great, better than my old booties. And they say "Thug" on them, which is nice. LOL Only issue is the velcro tabs were poorly sewn on, but that was an easy fix with a needle & thread. Overall, would buy again & recommend.

XS Scuba Thug 8mm Zippered Boots

These are awesome! They are very well made and warm! I wear mine with 3mm socks and my feet stay toasty in 42 degree water. I water hunt in rocky areas with my metal detector and these do great in the rocky environment! I have gone through many dive boots and these are the best I've ever had!

Quality made cold weather boots!

Very well-made and comfortable boot. I ultimately had to return mine after wearing them for a short time because my feet are size 14 and the largest size they make in these is a 13. Unfortunately for me they do run true to size so if you are a 13 in men’s US then a 13 should fit you perfectly. As a result my feet would cramp but I absolutely would have gotten a 14 if they were manufactured in that size. It is a shame as I was looking forward to Coldwater diving with these. Very warm boots. Leisure pro refunded my money no questions asked and they have always had excellent customer service with me.

Well made boot

I really like this boot. The sole rigidity is nice. The fit is good. The quality is exceptional. I have a split layer ankle cuff on my wetsuit. I put one layer under the boot and one layer over the boot. It works really well. My only concern is the potential for chafe on the zipper. But the zipper is big and strong and will not break.

Outstanding

Perfect for shore diving. Have used these in both tropical and cold diving situations. Worked great for difficult shore entrances in Bonaire, and hard to navigate entrances in lakes, rivers, and quarries. Sturdy and well made. Have put up with a lot of abuse.

Tough boot/ poorly made

The boot has no plush interior, the velcro that holds the zipper in place when zipped up ,is coming off, bad stitching, very poor craftsmanship. I will have to find a better made boot that has a comfy inside. I wore them two days!

Thug boots

Was worried that the boot tread might be too aggresive for my fins (i.e. too thick). But worked just fine in my current Jetfins and twin Jets. They are just a little bigger, but didn't change the fit for me in these fins. Probably the best built boots I've used in many years.

thick and warm

I was looking for some warmer boots. These fit the bill perfectly! I added some lava core socks and i can't even feel any cold in my feet anymore! I'll definitely buy these again.

Excellent boot with rugged yet flexible outsole.

XS Scuba's 8mm Thug Boots are one extremely warm, well built, and durable, cold water dive boot. Built-to-last theses nylon-2 neoprene rubber boots have glued and double-blind stitched seams inside and out for strength and durability. The boots are equipped with a large #10-YKK zipper chain with YKK's best marine bronze zipper slider. The zipper is also equipped with a cold-water dam, hook and loop tab zipper retainer and nylon zipper stops. The boots exterior surface is laminated with high abrasion resistant Ryno-Hide.

The insole is also made from 8mm neoprene for added cushion, comfort and warmth. The Thug Boots have a heavy-duty molded rubber sole, protective heel and toe caps and nylon edge binding all for additional strength and durability. Boots are black in color.
