Love this fin! I will say I am a female who wears a size 11 shoe. I found the large ran too large for me (even with my bootie) and had to exchange for the smaller size. I wore the first pair out and bought them again. My husband saw mine and ordered them for himself. Also highly recommend getting the Atomic spring strap for them.

This is great equipment, kind of on the “pro” side. A bit heavy and takes some getting used to but really moves you through the water. The quick release system works well — saves having to adjust every time you use them. Some bouoyncy Tom

I just finished a two week diving trip with my new Atomic Blade Fins and am very pleased with them. They are comfortable and fit as indicated in the size chart. I used them for warm water drift diving this trip and swam against to current to grab photographs several times so I believe they will perform in any scuba environment. This is the first time I have used spring straps and I absolutely love the ability to get my fins on and off so easily. They are comfortable and stay securely in place while diving. I am never going back to standard straps!

I got the atomic blade fins upon recommendation since my go-to scubapro jetfins (the solid rubber ones, not the split fins) were too heavy for diving with a wetsuit. Overall, I like the atomics. They have a much softer foot pocket than the jets, and the pocket is taller, so you don't have to size up to find a foot pocket that will fit you if you have high arches. For comparison, my street shoe size is a Women's 7.5 US. To get jetfins that fit on my DUI turbo tec boots (integrated boots with the kevlar covering), I had to size up to the XL for the jetfins, but the M fit me fine for the atomics. The atomics are positively buoyant in freshwater with either the standard clips or spring straps (the jetfins were negative). Spring straps are a must - the buckle clip kept coming loose when I was diving so I switched to the spring straps and haven't had any issues since then. Re: propulsion: the Atomics are not heavy as the jetfins, which makes it easier to do a backwards kick than it was with the jetfins. The Atomics are easier to flutter kick with due to the somewhat hinged foot pocket to blade design. By comparison, however, the jetfins have so much more forward propulsion using frog kicks compared to the atomics.

This is a beautiful fin and for the right foot type I think it would work great. I have a high arch and instep and requested a suggestion for a fin that would fit such - plus be good for ocean diving ( sometimes swift currents) The leisure pro chat guy suggested two fins and I got this one. Because of the design the hard material part joins the soft rubber part right at the highest point on the top of my foot - making it very uncomfortable. There is only about an inch of soft rubber (Closest to the leg) then 1 3/4" hard material and then the rest of the foot pocket is soft. I really really wanted these fins to work so I tried different boots, socks, and even barefoot but it still was uncomfortable. I am sad to return them because I love the great design and color and I think they would preform well in the ocean

Make sure you read the sizing chart before purchase! I didn't and assumed that a size small BladeFin would be a good fit simply because thats my usual fin size.
