I've owned this knife for over 20 years and still as sharp and useful as new. It is easy to completely disassemble and clean if you desire. Even the rubber straps it originally came with are still serviceable. It will last a lifetime of use if not abused.

Very sharp blade. The pommel is not metal. It is plastic. How do you signal with a dull plastic pommel. My biggest gripe is that sheath belts/straps are not quick release. I broke a thumb nail trying to undo the "quick releases." With the exception of the blade, this just has the feel of a cheap product. What ever happened to quality? This in my mind is a piece of junk. I didn't even bother to send it back. Not worth the time and effort. However, check out the other reviews, mostly positive so maybe its just me. Maybe my expectations are excessive.

This knife has been great so far. The price point was great for titanium. It comes with straps to attach it to your leg, and comes out of the sheath easily. I would definitely recommend for the price. We own an Atomic knife that was $130.00 and this one seem to do just as well.

This knife is well balanced and easy to use with a nice compact sheath design and comfortable handle. It holds its edge well and is very easy to clean after a dive. The usual Underwater Kinetic quality that is hard to beat for the price!

Adequate for the job. Ideal size. Light. Can't judge durability /w only 5 dives. Release is tricky (not good in a pinch). Easy to maintain.

This is a beauty of a knife. I have been diving for 37 years and have a accumulated a collection of knives. This is my first titanium. I cannot speak for the durability as I have only had it for a month and used it on three dives. But everything about it looks excellent. It is easy to take apart and clean, it is really sharp, it is light. The locking mechanism is well designed. Overall, I am impressed and plan on making this my main dive knife. I switched the straps, as I prefer velcro.

the plastic tang retainer clips to the knife tang and is threaded at the other end. The handle is secured by screwing a metal nut on the plastic threads of the retainer clip. Over tighten the nut and brake the tang retainer. Instructions - disassemble and clean after each use.

Good knife. Haven't got to use it yet but came decently sharp but I like my blades a little sharper so ran it across my sharpener. Look forward to using it on my next dive.

Bought this one and the titanium one as well but wanted to get this one so i would have a good knife when I get there but in case it disappears in route to or from the Dominican it won't hurt as much as losing my titanium one. The quality is not lacking. It is a solid knife that should hold up for years to come with proper maintenance. It comes decently sharp but recommend running it a few times cross a sharpener if you like it with that extra razor edge.

It is perfect knife and very well made. It has good weight and feel to it. Also it can be completely taken apart for proper cleaning. However like everyone else says, there's no hole for a lanyard so I took the handle out then tied a lanyard to the metal then enclosed it back w/ the handle. So now i have something I can have around my wrist

It is extremely sharp and ready to be used. The quality is there and has good grip/feel to the handle. Like everyone else is saying, lanyard hole would be nice addition to it. I haven't dive with it yet but has used it couple of times around the house and it is VERY sharp. Nice knife

Could use a lanyard loop hole otherwise is a very excellent blade to have. Disassembles easy for easy care and cleanup. I have a similar Blue Reef Deluxe 5" Titanium Knife (with a lanyard hole) that is a slightly thicker/heavier blade which is double edge sharp at the tip of the blade with full tang construction to a threaded metal end for the pommel (that is also titanium BUT GLUED ON - not so easy to remove the first time when cleaning). If some genius company could combine the best attributes of both knives I would buy a hundred of them to give away to all my friends and family.

This is an outstanding knife. The titanium is very light (almost as if the knife was made out of plastic) - everything about this knife is very durable and corrosion resistant. My friend has the stainless steel version of my titanium knife, which he forgot to clean on a dive trip - leaving significant rust within days. But not this titanium blade - it's 100% corrosion resistant. The one and only downside is the lack of an effective way to leash the blade. Other than that I could not ask for a better knife for it's specific purpose.
