Like do 1 or 2 dives with rechargeable pack and then switch to c cell batteries for the next dives?Donna R : There is a battery pack that can be armed with c cell batteries to prolong the unit's use after the rechargeable battery is drained. It would take a lot of use to drain the rechargeable battery so the c cells backup would probably not be needed.Thomas L : Yes, it comes with the ability to do both. All accessories are included to use normal c batteries.MICHAEL B : No. I had the same concern/wish, and there isn't a way because you need a small "spring plate" to allow the batteries to make a complete circuit which the rechargeable version does NOT Include. Not sure if this is something the manufacturer would sell you separately but would be worth a shot. Good Luck!Breanne P : Yes, you can switch to C batteries if needed. I just used mine on a 6 night liveaboard and dove every night for about an hour. I did not need to recharge while on the boat.
STEVEN M : three questions: (i) to recharge this light, will I need anything that does not come with the light; (ii) does the light come with, or have a place to attach, a landyard, so the other end of the landyard can be put around your wrist and you can let go of the light while diving, but not lose it; and (iii) how much does the light weigh (it will be taken on flights, so weight is important)? Bright light that?s worth the money!

Works well, nice and bright with a good tight beam for penetrating distance underwater. Probably performs as good or better than some of the much pricier options. Gets really hot on the surface but has a great heat dissipation feature in the water. For this reason I always store with batteries out until ready to dive. This light has some weight so buy yourself a good quality coil tether for attaching to your BCD and you?ll be good to go.

Best light ever

Great light. The only thing that would make it better is if they put a GOPRO mount on it. I put my own on, using a strap and glue, and it works pretty good.

Excellent durable and reliable light. I have great expectations for long-term service.

Terrific dive light. I had the old ( big and clunky ) rechargeable C-8 that finally gave up the ghost after many years of reliable and durable service. This one's more compact and I expect nothing less than equally long and reliable service. I took it to Bonaire recently.The tarpon enjoy nailing their dinner in the glow of the C8.

Serious Light!

Bought it for diving the wrecks in Truk Lagoon and it performed exactly as I wanted. Very bright with plenty of battery life. Heavy, but that's not a problem underwater. Pistol grip worked great. Only criticism is that the switch isn't as robust as it could be; the locking piece came out once and I had to pay attention to that, but not a big deal.

Very bright light

Went diving in San Diego about 3 times with this bad boy and holy crap. My buddy had a similar pistol grip made by some Amazon company, and it was literally like 15 times brighter. The center beam pierces through like 30 feet of water and spotting bugs was a breeze. Any stray light left(which was little) was bright enough to light up everything around me, and keep us safe. Highly recommend. 10/10
