Gerard C : What is the difference between the older c4 eled L2 and the new one?PETER T : The new C4 model includes the rechargeable battery pack (which is reflected in the price) on the older model the rechargeable battery was an optional extra. That being said the battery pack produces a higher intensity beam then with the 4 C batteries . Both work great !

No luck with two of them.

Not one, but two bad lights. First one the low beam went out before it even saw water and I only had it a week. Sent it in for warranty, and the replacement did the exact same thing. Then the high beam died. Sent it back for a refund.

Not bright

Given the price, especially with the battery pack and charger sold separately, this is not bright at all. My backup is better and was half the price given the upgrades that barely make the light almost imperceptibly brighter.

Awesome light

It's a perfect size to fit into the pocket of my BCD. My first dive with it was on bridge rubble in 80 FSW and It was great for looking under the pieces of bridge span and bringing out the colors at depth

Very Bright

This is a very good light for night diving or anytime you need extra light. My only criticism is that it can be too bright for taking photos or video - need to set on the lower setting, but it is still very bright. For open water long view visibility, it is an excellent light.

Flash Flood

I purchased the dive light as a present to my daughter who was planning a dive trip to mexico. The night never made it to the dive. It flooded with water as soon as it was emerged in the water and did not work. The light is being returned and not sure if she will get another one

WOW

Bought a pair as my son and I are working on advanced so we have night and deep dives. Here in AZ deep=dark, like no moon middle of nowhere dark. I know you aren't supposed to use new gear on checkout or 1st time dives but our previous lights would have been useless. These lights are were great right out of the box. They came with C batteries and wrist strap. Nice wide beam and piercing. came over a ledge at 90 ft and 25ft to bottom. this light had no problem scattering the catfish down there. The instructor and my buddy both comments on how well it worked.

Brighter and better the C4 eLED L2 is a versatile & durable primary dive light offering a powerful, penetrating beam in a lightweight, compact package. Boasting a huge increase in beam output from the L1 model, the L2 runs on 4 C cell alkaline batteries, and can produce 1000 lumens (900 of those are in the center beam) with the optional airline-safe, long-life, rechargeable battery pack (see SKU: UKTBPC4E)! The new C4 eLED L2 has a tough rubber bezel protects against impact. Will not corrode with its tough composite body, made from HYDRALUM and engineering polymer components that will hold up for 20 years in seawater.

Light has a patented lumen booster that improves LED efficiency by pulling heat away from the LEDs. Dual power locking switch toggles from high to low power and optimal beam ratio UK's patented optics system puts 89% of the total lumens into the center beam, delivering outstanding seeing distance with minimal glare. Other lights only put 40% of the total lumens into the beam. When the C4 eLED L2 is fueled from 4-C cell alkaline batteries (included) it will provide 575 lumens of brightness in high-mode for a burn time of 5-hours and provides 200 lumens of brightness for 19 hours in low-mode. With the optional rechargeable battery pack the light provides a whopping 1000 lumens of brightness for a burn time of 1.25-hours in high-mode and 450 lumens of brightness in low-mode for 4-hours of burn time. Light comes equipped with a comfortable pistol grip.

The light is depth rated to 500' (152.4m). The small size of the C4 makes it ideal for revealing the incredible marine life hidden under ledges. The C4 eLED L2 light has a beam distance of 330' (100m) on land. The light measures 6.8" x 5.6" x 3.2" (17.27cm x 14.22cm x 8.13cm), weighs 25 oz. (708.74 g) and is proudly made in the USA.
