Good: low volume, easy to clear, good vision. Not so good; comfort. Its so low volume and Fits so close to the face that the hard frame of the Mask becomes uncomfortable overtime. After using it I switch back to my Tusa

It's a small, streamlined, flexible, plastic mask. Freedivers, spearfishermen, underwater hockey players, etc. mostly love it. Scuba divers, snorkelers, probably not so much. Know what you're buying, and maybe don't buy this one on impulse. The lens is plastic, and scratches easily. The field of vision is super wide, but results in some visual distortion. Its flexibility prevents it from lasting as long as a hard plastic/glass mask. If you value its performance over other criteria, you will love it. Otherwise, consider a more traditional mask. It's a specialized tool, and when used accordingly, it performs beautifully. It's "the" mask favored by underwater hockey players worldwide, where speed trumps anything else.

This low volume mask is my favorite mask. Mainly because almost no air is required for equalization compared to most of the other freediving masks. The whole mask is very flexible and gives in during descent. One little downside is that it scratches more easily than other masks, because it does not use glass. I am more than happy to trade the amazing equalization benefits for scratching more easily. I always keep the mask in its box when out of the water.

I was pretty excited to be getting my first "real" mask.. overpaid horribly in a dive shop for this mask. I loved the way it looked and wouldn't listen to my husband and insisted. I loved how it doesn't look so big and old school, and now I had to tell him he was right. The lenses are super cheap. I can't even think of a nicer way to say it. If I would've looked closer I would be seen the wavy spots. I literally brought it to the beach one time and wasn't happy in the water immediately. By the time I washed it and put it away it was more scratched than my elcheapo was from a year. Huge disappointment.

The masks leaks and water gets in my nose. The lens are too fragile and scratch easily.

This is a real good looking low volume mask. Reminds me of a well fitting pair of goggles. I would highly recommend this mask.

The Aqua Lung Sphera Scuba Dive Mask is a good mask for the price. Low volume, affordable and fits most faces. The reason for the 3 stars is that instead of tempered glass, plastic is used for the view/ports. Although durable and cheap, it will scratch very easily.

Popular among free divers for its ultra-low profile, the Sphera blends the best qualities of dive and swim masks. A narrow bridge separates curved lenses that give divers a true 180°-degree range of visibility while a sleek frame and trim buckles reduce drag while swimming. Patented Plexisol lenses provide 100% UVA & UVB protection, a great plus for free divers spending time at the surface. Curved lenses provide true 180°-degree visibility for maximum awareness while swimming. Anti-fog and scratch-resistant lens coatings deliver crystal clear viewing and improved durability. Slimmed down mask strap and buckle system minimize drag and are easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves. Color options: Black Skirt Black
