Began using the Rocket Fin in 1969. Excellent propulsion and durability. First 2 sets rotted after about 25 years. Currently using 2 sets: 1 pair (regular size) for summer diving with the sock type bootie, and 1 pair (super size) for winter diving with the heavier thick sole bootie. The fin strap buckle assembly (added around 1999) was a great improvement.

I've used Rocket Fins for over 50 years. Very comfortable and efficient. Never found a better fin, so I've had a few pairs. The quick release strap assembly added about 20 years ago was a huge improvement.

On the day that I called the 1 800 Scuba.com number I got the most knowledgeable female sales rep ever who was scuba diving instructor and she is truly a wonderful sales person. In my conversation with her she was very knowledgeable and she treated me like if i was a very important person throught helping me purchasing Aqua Lung Rocket Quick Release Diving Fins she was super helpful. I really liked how she helped me, she really knew what she was doing. She was so super helpful. In the process I was overwhelmed how nice she was on the phone. She was so super nice to me. I forgot to ask her how much the shipping was, and I was sitting down after that for 20 mins and I got a phone call and it was the female sales rep and she told me she for got to give me the shipping cost to me . She was so very nice to me on the phone at all times. She is such a very good employee that you have working at the store that I would not mind taking a diving course from her. She is a very good employee you have at your store

They are strong for any conditions. they generate enough power for light mild to medium currents. Need booties for comfort (no good for socks). They are a little on the heavy side but reliable.

My third set of Rocket Fins since 1981. Big improvement with these with pivoting quick-release buckles on heel straps. Pivot the buckles down when putting the fins on. I use them for exercise swimming in the mouth of Chesapeake Bay. These are the fins that are used by SEAL trainees at BUDS, and by Navy and Coast Guard rescue swimmers jumping from the helicopter into the ocean. Produce great thrust, giving great exercise to your legs and lower torso.

Have always user these type of fins. 3rd set of rocket type fins after 40 years of diving. Last set must have a undersize strap attachment on one side as my spring fin strap keeps coming off as i take the fin off in the water to get on the boat. Was looking at the OMS fins as they are much lighter, was not available when i bought my last set. I think they would be a better travel fin

Love the propulsion of these fins.
Loved by traditionalists, the Rocket sports a classic vented blade that many divers still swear by. The classic all-rubber design is nearly indestructible and available in a standard version and one with an updated foot pocket. One of the first vented rubber fins sold in North America and popular among military and professional divers. All-rubber construction is compact, and ultra-rugged for use in harsh environments. Fins have quick-release buckles and are black in color.
