Basic & fully functional

I've been using this snorkel for years now & always have a couple of back-ups (not because of failures,,,but, because the best products always seem to get cancelled &/or harder & harder to find). Simple product...NO UNNECESSARY bells, whistles or gadgets. Very comfortable mouthpiece, streamlined, good for snorkeling or scuba, durable materials (one caution: be aware of the splash guard...don't set your tank on it, or step on it...treat it like gear, not a toy. Another advantage to having more than one...I stepped on one myself & swapped it out from an old one I had on hand & then actually managed to repair the original). Thumbs Up for this snorkel!

Tusa Snorkel

I looked at several snorkels and replaced a very old Dacor. They are both dry snorkels but the performance of the New Tusa is remarkable. Snorkeling and diving in Hawaii right now and after several trips, I have not spit out any water. it was a very good purchase.

small mouth piece is very comfortable but purge valve leaks just have to clear every 5 minutes but like the snorkel, use it for diving because it flexes out of way very well

Good snorkel

Good snorkel with comfortable mouthpiece. The tradeoff for the resistance to flooding is a somewhat restricted airflow, at least compared to snorkels that don't have this feature.

Good product for the money

I used this product to snorkle in Cancun. It was easy on the mouth but there was an occasional gurgle in the mouth piece if all the water was not purged. It was easy to purge most of the water but occasionally not all. It was very resistant to flooding even in high surf.

Better than what I expected!

Swam/snorkeled in the ocean with 3' to 4' waves and no water came into the snorkel, worked extremely well. Purges as you breath normally, easy exhalation.

I actually prefer this to a dry snorkel that I own. It's lighter and the mouthpiece is more comfortable. BTW I saw these in a dive shop in FL last year for[$]

Can't beat at this price

I'm very happy with this snorkel, after using it for a few years. It was worth the regular price, so if you can get it on sale, you won't likely be disappointed. Easy purge, seems to resist flooding nicely. Note: it's not a ball snorkel, so if you're a complete novice and expect it to seal out all leakage, you'll be unpleasantly surprised. Otherwise, it performs as advertised.

Works well

This is a good basic snorkel, it packs small and has been very durable. The connection piece to the mask is great and keeps the snorkel in place. It gurgles a bit, as most snorkels with a purge do, that's the only thing I'm not crazy about. I've been happy with this snorkel.

Great snorkel, great price

I have three or four Tusa Snorkels same or similar design. Got the first one for my kid and ended up loving it. Comfortable in the mouth, the purge works well and the baffle at the top of the tube keeps water out. Can't beat the price.

I tried many snorkels over nearly 20 years of snorkeling and 8 years of SCUBA diving experience. Impres II HYperdry by Tusa worked best for me. Very comfortable to use in all respects. The top plastic piece start cracking a bit after 5 years of use and abuse, but it still holds together nicely.
