Questions & Answers

Shopper : Are the Diopters glued on or ground in?Miguel L : The diopter is glued to the len.
KENDALL G : Since these are not manufactured into the silicone mask is it needed to scrub them before first use to avoid fogging?darrick c : Hello Kendall, the optical lens part of the lens you would not use a mask scrub on. Since you would scratch the optical lens part if you did that.
Shopper : Will these work with Tusa Liberator TM-5700?darrick c : Hello, no those would not work for the TUSA liberator. these are the bi-focal lens: https://www.scuba.com/p-h2clpos/h2odyssey-bifocal-lenses-for-alpha-masks.
APRIL W : Would these work on the Tusa Paragon? If not, are there any lens for farsighted folks for the Paragon mask?Mario C : no they would not.. i do not see + lenses for the paragon.. https://tusa.com/us-en/TUSA/Corrective_Lenses
Shopper : Is the corrective section a glued on piece or integrated into the glass?SCOTT S : The lens is one piece. When you replace your own clear standard glass lens, it is just one solid item that is installed into your mask, no glue is needed. David W : They have a plastic film you remove and then place the lens on the mask glass. They work very well and are easy to install.Victor J : It is a glued on piece. For positive diopters, it covers only the bottom area of the lens.BILL H : Glued Works well though.ZERALD T : Integrated into the glass. When you buy the mask, it comes with standard, clear lens. Each corrective lens, right & left, is shipped as a piece that you have to have changed by an authorized service tech to maintain your warranty.

It's a good deal.

Easy to replace myself, after watching some YouTubes, obtaining a small plastic screwdriver and I love being able to clearly see my gauges.

CEOS Reader inserts - I can see again!

I bought these to go with my new CEOS mask. From what I read I thought they were going to be tricky to fit but turns out it's pretty easy. They fit perfectly, no leaks and most importantly I can read my Suunto D9 properly again! SCUBA.com were amazing with their online chat and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure.

Great to see well underwater!

I have really enjoyed being able to see everything as well underwater as I do above with my glasses. Since I can't wear contact lens, it was always blurry when I dove. Not any more!

If you need them.

I wear glasses for close work. They are a life saver when you go to look at your gauges or computer. I would not dive without them now. Easy to install and do not impede regular vision. You have to look down to even know they are there.

Excellent!

These "reader" lenses are excellent! I was able to see my gauges and my camera perfectly! The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I would like the magnifier to be a bit bigger/higher. Due to how low the magnifier is and that there are two lenses rather than one big lens, I had to look through one eye or the other to focus when using the magnifier portion.

just awaiting on return policy..

If you only need reading glasses power..Probably would be fine..However for my own prescription lenses with progressive vision..they didn't fair well at all.

Not real corrective lenses

I thought I was buying corrective lenses, which should cover the entire surface of the mask. Instead, these are just gauge readers, small lenses at the bottom that make it easier to read your instruments. If you are truly farsighted, as I am, these are pretty much useless. Note that the pictures on the Web site show full lenses. Maybe the negative diopters are like that.

Work well

Makes reading gushes easier without getting in the way otherwise

Do you have Vision Problems when Diving?
Rx lenses are offered on several Tusa styles of masks. This option allows the diver to choose right and left lens powers in both a variety of Diopter for maximum flexibility and for a custom fit. Just as eyeglasses are the easiest and safest way to correct vision topside, corrective lenses are the simplest and most cost effective choices for correcting vision underwater.

Tired of not being able to see well underwater? Can't read your computer or gauges? Maybe you not sure what F-Stop you are setting your camera on? If these are problems for you when diving, you need to get a set of Diopter lenses for your dive mask. If you need corrective lenses for your Ceos 2 windowed mask, it can be easily fitted with optical lenses from +1.5 to +4.5 Diopters in 0.5 increments. Lenses are manufactured from tempered glass. Stop squinting and dive safer with corrected vision underwater.
