Great straps for my Tusa Hyflex Vesna Fins. Do not size using "large fins, large spring straps" as it depends on how far your heel sticks out of the fins as well as the size of the fins. Everyone tells me "large fins, large straps", but it has never worked for me across 7 spring strap brands and as many fins. My Large/Extra Large fin size was determined by my boots (Size 10 in Mares & Seasoft; Size 11 in Akona and others). In the these Tusa TA-81 spring straps, I take a size Small with the Large Vesna Fins. In the Tusa TA-80 spring straps, I take a size Large when using size XL Mares Raptor Fins. Better to put on your boots and fins, then measure the distance from strap post to strap post around your heel, then look for a strap that's at least 1" - 2 " shorter.

Ordered the correct size by the chart for my fins (tusa zoom Express splits) were so loose I would have lost a fin in the water.

Very good strap. Very well made, and true to size. I expect to get quite a bit of use out of them. My only minor complaint is that it does rub a bit against my heel when I'm snorkeling, as I'm doing a lot more kicking. No issues whatsoever when diving.

If they fit your Finns ....buy them Slip your Finns on with 1 finger ( the rubber loop on the spring ) Slip your Finns off the same way

Used me new EZ Spring Fin Straps on my TUSA Split Fins last weekend. They were easy on and off, held my foot firmly and comfortably, Im sorry I didnt change from the palstic straps earlier.

I wear a medium fin and a small strap. I am a size 8.5 and the medium strap was to large and not secure on my foot. Leisure Pro exchanged it with no problem. Now I love these straps. The big handle above the heal is well made and easy to handle. These straps are a must have if you want ease of use. Great quality.

I put these on my old Imprex Tri-Ex fins & they are great. My fins for a very strong vacuum on my feet. I struggled getting my fins off my feet when trying to get on the boat. These straps my it a lot easier. When I bought my new Tri-Ex fins I bought a new set of these traps without a second thought.

I switched to spring straps last year and am happy with the decision. Springs make it so much easier to don and doff the fins. Not having to fiddle with size adjustment when donning or buckles when doffing (especially in heavy seas when facing a bucking ladder) greatly improves my dive experience. Two words of caution. First, on sizing. I have procured these spring straps for two divers in my family and both times, it was an exercise in trial and error to get the right size when considering the variables of: 1. fin size 2. foot length 3. booty type, e.g. thin, thick sole, etc. 4. strap size Just assuming that if you order the same size strap as your fin size, and all will be perfect would be a mistake. I would almost go so far as to say, don't order these online but instead go to a store so you can try them on with your actual fins and booties. There is a precise point of correct fit where they are tight enough not to slip off your heel and yet not so tight as to jam up your toes or put undue pressure on the Achilles. Second, careful when using these because it is possible (I have done it) to get pinched and take a chunk out of a cuticle or knuckle. Especially when you've been wet and your skin softens. Just be careful. The pros far outweigh the cons and it was worth the hassle of returns to finally get the right size and convert to springs.

These are very sturdily built and I believe will greatly improve my diving experience because I hate fiddling with my fin straps prior to a dive and when doffing fins at the boat ladder. If you have not used spring straps (like me), know that the size of your fins is really important because if enough of your heel doesn't protrude past the foot pocket of your fin, the strap won't be tight enough. If you are on the bubble of fin size, go down a size. Alternatively, (unless you are already at the smallest size on spring strap) go down a size on straps if your fins are larger. Honestly, I think this is a risky thing to buy online. I had to return one set of fins (hassle) for XS's AND had to buy more hefty booties to make the fin + spring strap configuration work successfully with my very small feet (6.5 women's). One small nit...the straps and fins I bought are primarily white. The lubricating oil on the springs leaves a stubborn black residue on the white rubber. Perhaps after a few uses, this problem will go away but it is unattractive and hard to remove. A non-issue if you have black fins.

My husband has these and he loves them, however they aren't for me. The springs are too harsh and push my feet into my fins with too much pressure. This caused the fins to actually cut into my feet (through my 5-mil boots). Luckily someone on our trip had a pair of adjustable straps that I could use or my vacation would have been ruined. I gave the straps away.

Great straps. Very comfortable, Makes getting out of the water much easier when getting on a boat as you don't have to unclip or loosen your fins. Sizes seem a little large. I first got a medium based on LP's recommendation, but they just fell off. Got a small, which is comfortable but still a touch on the loose side.

The pull tab on these is somewhat different than typical spring straps and can be difficult to locate if trying to remove by feel alone. I am also concerned that the pins connecting the springs to the buckle is plastic instead of metal, hopefully these will not fail.

Spring straps rock! This is the second pair on spring straps I own. Tusa's version better due to Quck release, rather than pull on-off only. Great product and bonus when purchasing Tusa X-15's from LiesurePro!!!!!

These came free with my fins and honestly, I was not going to install them but I decided to give them a try. OMG they are awesome. No messing with clips and straps, just slip on your fins and dive. I would probably never have bought these but now I can't live without them. They are super solidly built and are of a nice, hefty construction.
