Shopper : how can i install the corrective lens into the mask?YAN G : There are youtube videos available for installation of corrective lenses. Basically, you need to remove the outer frame around the lense, remove the existing lenses, and then install the corrective lenses. Then, re-install the outer frame and snap back into place. You would have to test this to make sure everything is sealed properly.RONALD B : You can have a corrective lens made and cemented to the inside on the mask's lenses. I assume you can buy the diopter lenses and replace the lenses that came with the mask also.MICHELLE M : We ordered this mask in 2009, and I'm pretty sure it came with the corrective lenses installed (and the original lenses floating free in the packaging). I think that's how it worked out. I'm pretty sure I spoke with the merchant on the phone, even, before I ordered the mask, and that he helped me figure out how to translate my prescription into the corrective lens numbers. At any rate, it was not a hassle at all (I would remember if it had been a hassle). The mask with the corrective lenses has worked beautifully for us.

Shopper : How do I clean around the lenses? I know you can open it up, but I don't want to break anything.RONALD B : Around the outer edge of each lens is a plastic "snap in" that holds each lens in. Carefully use a knife, or similar object, and pop Each one out. Each lens then falls out. Reverse procedure to install. Simple!DOUGLAS S : I just wet the lenses and use regular soft soap. If you need to get close to the edges use a few q-tips. I wouldn't remove the lenses.

Sherwood Magnum 2 Mask

I got this mask with prescription lenses and it was fabulous for snorkeling. No problem with fogging and no difficulty seeing things. The only issue is that it leaves quite an imprint on the face. I suppose I could have tried it looser, but I was worried that the seal would be compromised.

strap connector broke

Although I love this mask and plan to buy another, I recently had the section that connects the mask to the strap completely snap off on a dive site which ruined the dive. Mask was only 1 year old. Disappointing. Hope it was a fluke.

Decent product

customer service was good. I needed to know if it was large enough for my face and someone helped. I think there should be something in description to say it would fit a wide face.
