Suunto Core with Rotating Bezel - All Black Military

I just received an All Black Core for an anniversary gift from my wife. I have always wanted a Core since their introduction. I also have a couple of other outdoor competitors? watches (name begins with a C) but in my opinion, the All Black Core looks better than than the others while still offering most of the same features. It is super lightweight and the size of the face is really easy on my 53 year old eyes to see the time, date, and all other awesome features that this watch has to offer. However, it would be nice if Suunto would make this a solar model; then it would be absolutely perfect. Thanks Suunto for making such a Tacti-cool watch!

This is my 2nd Core - the other one still works just as well but I liked the black background and my other one is a little beaten up. I originally had the Suunto Yachtsman, sailed around the world twice with it. It succumbed to being tested to the ultimate limit and eventually the crystal lcd gave up after 13 solid years. This was replaced with my original core and now I have my latest. This watch does exactly as you want. The Barometer and Compass are always spot on and the timers are perfect for racing yachts, dinghies and boards. I've tried many different watches but always come back to what I still think is the best watch on the market. Carry this one with you and you can't go wrong.

I love the look of the watch and the different features it offers. Use the videos to help you set it up. I was also surprised it came with two extra strap holders.

I read some negative comments about this watch and IMHO the watch meets the value placed on it. Meaning you get what you pay for. It gives me the basic functions and they?re pretty accurate, considering it?s a watch. I will always have a BAC watch, it?s a great back up. The battery is easily changeable and the watch band is accessible. No complaints here.

The Core All Black watch is very well packaged, extremely well optioned and the build quality is top notch. It?s very easy to setup and use and is also easy to read even with my ?old man? vision. Sits well on my wrist and wears comfortably. I 100% recommend it.

Must say this watch is loaded.I contacted customer service and they were very helpful.I look forward to using this Core watch alot in all weather .Only problem i see is the O ring and battery life,but over all very happy with it.

Actually is not issue cause I?m not sure if the backlight color is green or kind of electro-blue. I was expecting for electro-blue but the one that I received is green, so this is my question/issue, What color is the backlight ?

It's a very good edc watch, with very accurate sensors. The only problem is that the top ring can get of, and tegen you Will loose it. That happenend to me

Just got this for hunting. I like the display and features on the Suunto Core. The altimeter and barometer are perfect for what I need along with the storm alert so I can get off the mountain or out of the marsh. My wife has a Suunto watch and we have had great success with the customer service. They were quick to respond and very helpful. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the battery life. Otherwise great product.

For the watch itself, I have not many complaints. Pros: - Durable, I don't have to worry about being hard on it. Can smash against rocks, have in sand. - Water proof, sand proof, solid watch Cons: - Battery doesn't last as longs advertised (lasted about 5-6mo) - Overpised. 219+ for a watch with a clock, barometer, and compass? Ehhh.. Do I like the watch? Absolutely. Its a solid watch. Would I buy it again? No. I would pick up one of the ambits or a higher end watch from Suunto, on sale.

This watch has proven itself many times over, and once you understand the functionality of the buttons, is easy to navigate and use. The watch has definitely drawn attention from others while on my wrist.

This watch by far does more than than many other watches. The barometer functions excellent. The compass is very accurate. The whole watch does just about everything I wanted in a watch and I fully recommend it

I have 3 other Sunnto watches from semi-expensive Ambit and Ambit 2, to ultra-cheap Quest that my wife uses and loves (shame that it is out of production because she wants only that watch and I can't even get replacement bands for it). But, this Core watch is like her Quest for me in that it is light and simple and has a nicely visible layout for physical activity and every day wear. I do wish it had adjustable brightness and contrast though.

This was a gift from my son. I like the time/altimeter/compass features as I travel for a living. It helps in fun but also can come in handy when canoeing and hiking. Seems versatile and well made!

I received this a few days ago for my trip to HI. Set up was easy and really enjoying the quality of the way so far. It will get the full test next week hiking and snorkeling but I expect it to function past expectations.

This compact watch does it all, depth,compass,alarm,barometer, sunrise/sunset, with date and backlight. It even tells the time! It is so light on your wrist you forget you have a watch on, it really does it all, the watch itself is not as large as I thought, which I like. I would recommend this watch to family and friends.

This has to be one of my fave watches, it has only one thing that could be improved on in my view and that's it....... my view....of the screen should be improved by increasing the brightness to a more visible level. Which is not possible by the consumer in fortunately. Oh, increasing the contrast doesn't count to improving the brightness. Other than that, brilliant, looking at other models in the suunto range, for my personal collection. Great Thanks.
