Shopper : What is the shelf life of the product?Guillermo S : I don't know. There is no indication on canister. The top rim area rusts real easy. Raises the concern if the canister will blow up due to the corrosion. I bough two canisters approximately April 2015. Have not had the unfortunate opportunity to use it. I take them with me when I go spearfishing about 1 or twice a month. I rinse/submerge the canisters with fresh water as soon as I get out of the (ocean) water. I recommend asking some Questions directly to manufacturer.William S : Don't know about shelf life. I carry it kayak fishing and have never had to use it. After a year, there is a little rust on the top of the can, but it still works. When I bought this, I had thought that it was a single use item, but small amounts of it can be used at a time.CHRIS N : There is no mention of shelf life on the bottle. I've had it about 10 months on multiple dives, and the bottle still looks visually sound, with liquid inside.YAN G : 3 years. Rinse after each use in salt water.
