San Remo frames are made from corrosion-resistant and hypoallergenic alloy, to assure a durable pair of sunglasses while being highly comfortable, designed and light. Metal, and especially Monel and Nickel, is featured in the Metal Series. Adjustable temple tips and nose pad can be adjusted for a comfortable fit on the nose while adjustable temple tips allow for a snug fit behind the ears. Megol nose pads and temple tips absorb moisture, keeping frames securely in place. Silicone nose pads can be adjustable for a comfortable fit.

Ultra-light mineral lens is lighter, thinner, and better than the rest. A full 20% thinner and lighter, Serengeti Borosilicate mineral glass lenses are finer than any other lens. Produced in the same process normally reserved for ophthalmic-quality corrective lenses, they also provide the best visual optics in the industry. Hydrogen-fired. Infused, perfected, each photochromic lens passes through a Hydrogen-fueled Lehr furnace, which fuses each lens with the Spectral Control technology - with varying temperatures that determine the proprietary lens hue. 555 nanometers mark the center of light's visible color spectrum, right on the border of yellow and green. This is where the human eye sees best. In low light conditions, this lens allows more yellow and green to pass through, creating relaxing conditions for the eyes, while the light silver metallized mirror coating (available only on mineral lens) reflects glare. Very bright light conditions. The non-polarized lens is ideal for driving and everyday use and the polarized one is ideal for boating activities. Available in non-polarized and polarized ultra-light mineral and Polar PhD 2.0 lenses.

This technology manages wavelengths to give better saturation of what we need to see. these lenses fine tunes & filters shortwave blue light, allowing more red, green, & yellow to pass through. Landscapes that would be washed out, dull, or flat w/other lenses become defined, vibrant, & vivid while your eyes remain cool & relaxed. Spectral Control technology excels at diminishing atmospheric haze, filtering up to 95% of blue light to reduce blue blur & visible noise, while enhancing contrast & sharpness. Providing improved depth perception & maximum color contrast. Retina-harming blue-violet light is a risk factor for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). By filtering it out, Spectral Control technology helps preserve your sight perfectly.

Serengeti's Polarizing technology suppresses glare and sets your eyes free, releasing them to enjoy all the depth and beauty the world has to offer. When glare reflects off the road, water, snow or flat areas, parallel light rays can pass through unhindered, while distracting perpendicular light is reflected. This allows you to discover more clarity, while living free from glare and eye fatigue.

The sunglasses temple bar length is 5.3" (135mm), lens 2.5" x 1.5" x 2.64" (63mm x 38mm x 67mm) with a bridge width (DBL) 0.63" (16mm). Sunglasses come with a protective case and are a medium to large fit.
