Using highest-quality injected nylon TR90 for durability, these fashionable frames have the added benefit of being exceptionally light, chemically resistant, & extremely flexible & comfortable. Serengeti mineral lenses are made w/borosilicate optical glass, coming from Corning. Every pair of mineral lenses is unique & comes to life through an intense hydrogen-firing process. Plus, the lenses are chemically tempered to ensure scratch & impact resistance, then ground to perfection. All this process allows Serengeti mineral lenses to withstand extreme temperature changes & gives the best visual acuity you could experience. A full 20% thinner & lighter, finer than any other lens.

555 nanometers mark the center of light's visible color spectrum, right on the border of yellow & green. This is where the human eye sees best. In low light conditions, lens allows more yellow & green to pass through, creating relaxing conditions for the eyes, while the light silver metallized mirror coating reflects glare. The non-polarized lens is ideal for driving & everyday use, polarized one is ideal for boating activities. Serengeti Spectral Control Technology fine-tunes light waves passing through the lens, for a highly reduced blue light transmission, naturally enhanced detail & colors that pop, crisp & clear. This technology manages wavelengths to give better saturation of what we need to see. these lenses fine tunes & filters shortwave blue light, allowing more red, green, & yellow to pass through. The Matte Black frame with 555NM grey polarized lenses, Shiny Tortoise/Satin Soft Gold with Driver Gradient non-polarized lenses and Sanded Dark Grey/Satin Dark Gunmetal with Blue polarized lenses. The Lerici by Serengeti polarized grey lenses have 15% transmittance lightened lens, 9% transmittance darkened lens, 92% blue light blocked lightened lens and 95% blue light blocked darkened lens. The 555NM polarized blue lenses which are category 2 to 3 lenses have 25% transmittance lightened lens, 16% transmittance darkened lens, 89% blue light blocked lightened lens and 93% blue light blocked darkened lens. The non-polarized lenses have 16% transmittance lightened lens, 8% transmittance darkened lens, 89% blue light blocked lightened lens and 96% blue light blocked darkened lens.

Drivers Gradient lens was invented to help both pilots and drivers to read their instruments and see the world in perfect clarity. This lens is darker at the top and lighter at the bottom. Protecting your eyes from above while providing a clear view of the dashboard below. For pilots, non-polarized Drivers Gradient finish is the preferred choice capturing details at great distances without obscuring their view of the digital instruments in front of them. Overcast to medium light conditions. Ideal for Driving and Everyday use. As a beautiful variation of the 555nm, the 555nm Blue features a reflective blue dielectric mirror coating, which offers a category 2 to 3 555nm lens protection that reflects more glare and improves contrast.
