Shopper : Does it come with a rubber leg strap? or would i have to buy one seperate?MARY ANN G : The one I ordered a few months ago came with two leg straps. The rubber straps were quite long and after I adjusted the straps to fit my leg snuggly, I trimmed the excess. Works quite well. Straps have quick disconnect buckles.ERIC S : Yes it doesCRAIG B : Yes, it comes with rubber leg straps (2 straps, if I remember right). I bought my first one several years ago, and then my latest one about 9 months ago. They each have the hard plastic "squeeze-to-release clips/buckle like you find on most conventional backpacks. I believe they also had a simple rubber "keeper" on each strap, to keep the excess strap tucked away. I do not use this knife for diving, but just as a great utility type knife. I LOVE it. I have bought two so far, as someone decided they "needed" it worse than me, and stoled the first one. The only tiny negative about it, is that I wish the plain edge came a little sharper than it did. The serrated edge is fantastic.BRIAN A : Yes rubber leg straps are included. Heres a helpful hint, i do a lot of online shopping and find that if you look at features on most of these items it will show exactly what's included. Hope this helps:)

Good deal

The knife quality seems good. The lock mechanism is stiff but seems practical. The straps seem excellent. The drawback is, I simply haven't gone diving with it yet. Sorry

Horrible Clasp

The blade is good and sharp, but so what if you loose it under water. The sheathe is equipped with a "patented" clasp that is flimsy and unreliable. I have lost this knife twice because the clasp was not secure. The clasp diminishes the value in this knife, go with another knife.

Great knife

A solid knife that doesn't rust and is easy to grip. It is pretty sharp although I haven't cut with it that often.

Great BCD Knife

I have always liked these Wenoka knives, the quality of the steel is nice, it is easy to sharpen, and the size is good for mounting on a BCD shoulder strap or on the side of the BCD. The EZ lock sheath is secure and can be worked with a gloved hand. I do secure the knife with a retractable tether (as I have lost a few over the years).

Best for the Price

Awesome knife for the price. If you're looking for an inexpensive dive knife/braining knife then don't hesitate, this is the way to go. I've dove with it well over 50 times and have yet to see rust. As with all diving equipment I wash it with freshwater afterwards.

Fine Quality, Compact, Functional Design

The Wenoka knifes are compact, but functional. I like the variety of blade options and own two. The knife locks solidly in the case, will not drop out even if mounted handle down. I have mounted it with zip ties to one of the hoses, or you could mount to the BC D-ring, or wear it on you leg. Size is perfect as a very functional knife without bulk or weight.

4 years later, i'm still diving w/ it

i've had this knife for 4 years now. when i first got it, i went sailing to the bahamas for 3 straight months and it held up great. i have the blunt tip which is 420 stainless steel. after 4 years, it finally started to rust a little, but i haven't put oil on it for years either. a little 400 grit sand paper and it came right off, looks as good as new. now it's got a light coat of oil on it and ready to dive again. it's the same knife that leisurepro still sells today. comfortable to use with gloves. i attached mine on my BC D ring so it doesn't flop around, never had a problem. and yep, i've used it to get me out of some pinches while diving. for the price, i'd buy two.

Aqua Lungs Wenoka Dive Knives have been serving the industry for over three decades and counting. The Wenoka EZ-Lock is no exception to this tried and true line of diving accessories, with a 3.75' (9.5 cm) 304-series stainless steel blade on the dolphin and 420-series on the blunt tip. The knife's overall length is 8.125" (20.6 cm). The EZ-Lock is the serious diver's tool. A knife like this you don't want to lose, so Wenoka's patented EZ-Lock locking mechanism securely locks your knife in its sheath, but releases with a squeeze of the handle.

The knife allows variable mounting options with a molded belt clip on the impact resistant plastic sheath that comes with rubber leg straps. The positive grip handle is equipped with a hole for attachment of a wrist lanyard. The knife blade has one-side with alternate hollow ground serrations, and a line cutter and the other side with a straight edge. The Dolphin point model has serrations on both sides.
