They are Speedo goggles and you definitely have high expectations! Sadly, I would not recommend these goggles. The anti-fog lens coating seemed to wear away very quickly (after using them for three times). In my opinion, there's not much point in getting vision correcting goggles if you still cannot see clearly due to fogging. I'll have to replace them and would not purchase them again.

I have a pronounced Roman nose this is the best pair of goggles I've bought from Speedo. They're comfortable, fit my nose, don't leak AND the Rx is GREAT!!

Having a -10 prescription with astigmatism, I've always had trouble swimming as much as I wanted since I don't like swimming with my contact lenses. THESE WORK!! Even with the -8 goggles, I can see clearly enough to walk around safely, make my way through the water, not worry about about my contacts. Even though my sight isn't completely corrected, that's fine since I'm not trying to read small print. I just want to be able to see who's in the land next to me and judge distance. Wish I had come across these years ago!

Bought these for my son for swim team and he is so much happier being able to see the clock and the coach! Really good cost for them given other goggles we have purchased that were non prescription were almost just as much. My son's eyes are different prescriptions at -2.0 and -2.25 but we bought the -2.0 Vanquishers and they work fine for him. Definitely recommend.

I swim laps I'm a swimming instructor These hurt my nose and dig in around my eyes I can see very clearly with these. Maybe someone without a Roman nose would find them comfortable.

I've been using these goggles for open water swimming. They have great clarity. They could be more comfortable, but after a few swims I'm already getting acclimated to the new fit.

Love being able to see while working out; optical swim goggles are a must! Speedo has great fit and optics. The con has always been the fogging up of the goggles. However a little fog is okay to be able to see.

The goggles worked amazingly well. Was able to see in the water, as well as out of the water. However, the lens will not wipe clean. The nature of the design is close enough that eyelashes rub up against the lens leaving oil or "scratches" on the lens. Tried to wipe this away with my glasses cloth provided with my prescription but to no avail. Is there something that Speedo provides to help with this issue? I have not been able to find anything.

Optical Vanquishers. Liked first pair enough to order 2 more pair- backup for races and one for the beach. First prescription goggles were as college swimmer, Vanquishers are better and cost less than 10% of my customs. Caveat - I have no astigmatism, so ? How they do for folks with significant astigmatism. Great product.

The optical correction in these lenses is something I'm trying out for the first time ever and am very pleased with the goggles. Allows me to do something I haven't been able to do since I was a kid - see clearly when swimming! I bought a pair for my son as well, and this might help change his attitude towards swimming (fingers crossed). Goggles can be adjusted with the provided nose bridges (I swapped out the large for the medium). Instructions on how to remove and insert the nose pieces would have helped, even thought it would seem obvious. I tug on it hoping I wouldn't end up breaking anything. It was going in one way or the other ...just a little struggle.

This is my third pair of prescription goggles. I couldn't swim laps without them. I'm very nearsighted, and these goggles offer clear, unobstructed vision in the pool. The new design is even more attractive than the previous one. They are also lightweight and comfortable. After five years or so, the plastic clips dry out and break, but that's still a reasonable lifespan, in my opinion. If you are nearsighted and like to swim, I highly recommend these!

I've worn Vanquishers for many years now, always a perfect fit and great comfort during long practices. These optical goggles are a fantastic option when you need some vision correction as I now do. A couple things that would make them better: 1. Put the same nosepiece in them that is in regular Vanquishers. The optical version nosepiece doesn't have the same curve so it hits the bridge of my nose just enough to drive me nuts. I took the nosepiece from an old pair of regular Vanquishers and swapped it out. Why would you put a different nosepiece in the first place? 2. Make a mirrored version! Just because we're half blind doesn't mean we don't want to look cool.

I bought the prescription goggles (I'm -5 but bought -4.5 because the water magnifies it by about 0.5 diopters). They seal well and fit perfectly. No complaints.
