This paddle board is amazing! Everything came packaged with care and with easy instructions. Balancing on it was seamless and the colors of the board are just as vibrant in person as it is in the pictures. I am new to paddle boarding and have had no trouble using this board. I love the bag it comes in too! Makes it easy to transport and everything you need fits right in. 5??????????

I got this paddleboard after going out with some friends on theirs, and I have to say I love it! As all inflatable ones, it's a good work out to get it pumped up, and then it's nice and stiff for the water. I've taken it out probably 5 or 6 times and it's always a good time. The weight capacity is rated at 200lbs, but it can definitely push that a bit! It's held up great as wind has pushed us onto rocks and docks plenty of times. I'd recommend to anyone looking to get a paddleboard that can easily fit in the trunk of any car. I reached out to customer service with a question about the board and they got back to me pretty quick, which is awesome.

To be fair, I have only taken this board out to the ocean 1 time and this was my first time ever inflating a board. So this review is completely from a novice's point of view (although, I have been on a paddle board numerous times). The rating of 3 stars is primarily based on deduction of 2 stars due to 1) inflation process / inflation valve design and 2) performance. Let me explain... The inflation value point uses a design that is very specific to the pump that was provided. The pump comes with an accordian-like hose, at the end of which, is a nozzle which you twist into place at the insertion point on the board itself. The nozzle, however, did not stay in place even after twisting it into the "lock" position. As I was pumping, the nozzle would dislodge and break away from the board's valve. And when this happens, if there is no one holding the nozzle in place, air will escape and most of your efforts are loss and would need to be re-doubled. Also note, I did not use the hand pump 100% of the time. 80%of the inflation was done with a electric pump that was attached to my car outlet and the other 20% was inflated with the hand held pump. I would have used the electric pump 100% but because of the design of the value, I could not sustain any further air into the board; hence I had to switch to the nozzle & manual pump. (Also, it is not recommended by the manufacturer to use an electric pump. LOL.) That being said, even with the last 20%, I got a great upper body workout. It requires a lot of strength, takes a lot of energy, and rather exhausting (I'm 5'6" 115lbs - for reference of strength LOL). So for me, I personally did not like the valve design. I also have an inflatable kayak and the inflation valve is super fantastic. It's a cap screw, but you screw it twice, once to allow you to inflate without air escaping and the second screen is to deflate - it's really a brilliant design. This whole push pin with a coil design isn't great, in my opinion. I hope it'll last long term...more than 50 inflations/deflations I hope. I also want to mention that when I hit the 15 PSI and pulled the hose out of the value, I still loss some air so when I placed the board in the water, I noticed that was still a slight give (maybe 1-2 PSI short of air). So it's very important to inflate the board fully. Now, onto the the reason for the 2nd star deduction. This SUP board is a banana slug, or as my title implies, an "Elephant at Sea". She was not designed for speed, and I knew that when I ordered the board. It's not a sleek design that would allow for agility and speed, but is great with balance. PROS: The wide board allowed enough room for my 75 lb dog to maneuver around, front facing to back facing several times. He even stood up on the board, so in terms of stability, it's pretty good. With the three fins at the bottom (two small and one large), I think this gave the board a good sense of steering. It didn't veer off too much to the sides (other than by cause of the current). Based on these assessments, this is a decent board. Good for stability and steering; room for a SUP pup, and it came with all the accessories. I hope to have many more adventures on it with my dog this coming year and the years ahead.
