I have reached to the manufacturer and that is the answer: "The height in the front and rear from the waterline is approximately 14”-16” The floor is 2” when properly inflated. Depending on the weight, and the water conditions, the person(s) may be in slight amount of water, but the kayak is self-bailing when drains are open." Hope it helps

I am so pleased with my kayak. What amazes me is the stability. I was on the water the other day and realized my seat was wrong. On the water I got on my knees, turned around and moved my seat up. I never felt wobbly or nervous. Being 69 pumping my kayak up hurts my back after a bit so i want to get an electric pump.

Great design

Bought the kayak we saw at the power boat show in Annapolis. Did a test paddle and was very pleased with the handling. Compact design will store on our Back Cove 41 nicely.
