Salvimar Knife

It is pretty small but fits nicely on a weight belt. After a couple weeks of use, in the tropics, the edge of the knife is starting to rust even though we rinsed it after each use. We are now rinsing and then drying it and not putting it back in the sheath until the sheath is completely dry.

Some people just need to learn to maintain their gear.

I have had this knife for over a year, dove with it a bunch of times and it has no rust. Dry it off after your dive and coat it with silicone grease and it doesn't rust. If you don't do this it will cause ANY stainless steel knife to rust. Complaining that a steel knife rusts is like complaining that a car runs out of gas, of course it does if you don't do anything about it!

I have had this knife for over a year, dove with it a bunch of times and it has no rust. Dry it off after your dive and coat it with silicone grease and it doesn't rust. If you don't do this it will cause ANY stainless steel knife to rust. Complaining that a steel knife rusts is like complaining that a car runs out of gas, of course it does if you don't do anything about it!

The Salvimar Predathor is a compact knife ideal for free divers and spear fishing. The knife blade is made from durable and corrosion resistant 420-stainless-steel, has a double sided cutting edge with one side smooth straight edge and a partial serrated side edge. The knife has a drop point tip design. The knives new ergonomic grip fits comfortably in the hand and is green acid colored handle for easy identification. The knives plastic sheath is a fast system design that is adaptable to carry on your arm, forearm leg or belt clip. The knife blade length is 6.3" (16cm).
