SeaLife Flex-Connect Ball Arm Kit

Having the proper lighting when taking underwater photographs is what makes or breaks the picture. The difference between a photo that is just blue and green and one that is vibrant in all colors depends on lighting. Once you descend below 15' to 20' (4.6m to 6.1m) you lose all red colors to the eye and your camera. The only way to bring them back out in your photos is with artificial light. So, a strobe or light is a must if you wish to take good colorful pictures or video underwater.

Having the proper mounting devices to allow you to place the artificial light just where you want it in your photograph/video is as important as the light itself. The SeaLife Ball Arm Kit is a complete turn-key package that includes one Ball Arm, two Ball Clamps, one Flex-Connect Ball Joint Adapter and one Ball Joint Adapter for Flex-Connect. Use two Ball Arm Kits to gain an additional 9.5" (24cm) extension. The Flex-Connect 8" (20cm) Rigid Ball Arm is ideal for supporting heavier photo-video lights/strobes or when diving in currents and locking the direction of the lighting is desired. Use the rigid arm in combination with Flex-Connect Ball Clamp and Ball Joint Adapters to create 15.5" (40cm) arm extension. The arm is made of black anodized aluminum for strength and durability.

The Flex-Connect Ball Clamp connects two 1" (25.4mm) diameter balls together. The aluminum clamp plates are spring-loaded for easy assembly and breakdown. Its wing-nut handle features an attractive red anodized finish. Hard coat 2-color anodizing design.

The Flex-Connect Ball Joint Adapter connects Sea Dragon Lighting and Flex-Connect accessories to any underwater camera using the 1" (25mm) ball joint mounting system.
