Stefan I : When mounting the gopro connection on this, will the gopro camera be able to rotate or will it always be looking in the same direction as the sealife camera? I am actually most affraid that it will rotate a bit without me paying notice to it.ROBYN S : Stays in one place nice and firmly.NICK D : Should not rotate.WAYNE K : It will not rotate. GoPro is pointed tha same as the Sealife. The advantage is having the floodlights on the Sealife available for the GoPro when taking videos.THEODORE G : steady, but you can adjust the tilt for your needs.DOUGLAS M : Just got back from a Cozumel week of diving with my go pro atop my dc1400. CHRIS C : will this Sealife Flex-Connect Cold Shoe Mount slide into the Sealife 1200 camera slot at the top of the camera case? and without allowing water to flood the camera? I see where there is already a plastic insert there, that appears to not be able to be removed unless the camera door is open. So, just worried that if there isn't the same kind of flush/seal then I could have water coming in through this gap. Thanks!JOY H : The slot is on the outside of the camera case. It easily slides on and off without opening the camera.CHRISTOPHER L : It comes with a large rubber band to conceal the small gap just below the red area. Basically there is NO gap where water will flood the camera. This is totally separate from the opening. The small gap on this attachment is there because you "twist" this once it is seated to tighten it onto the cold shoe mount. I believe the rubber band just minimizes sand from entering.John S : The seal on the door of the camera housing stop water from getting to the camera. So you will not have a flood even if you don't have the Cold Shoe in the housing. Hope this help

Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Robert D : Purchased a Sea Dragon Mini 650 to use as video/photo light on my DC2000 camera. Upon attaching it to my camera I found the cold shoe adapter that came with the light fit very loosely. After contacting SeaLife they acknowledged the issue, pointed me to a technical update acknowledging the issue and recommending the purchase of two additional fittings. Long story short - an extra $75 in parts. A very expensive light in the end.WAYNE K : The DC camera's have a cold show mount. I can mount my Sea Dragon 2300 video light on the camera and have the capability to light up for video and still have my strobes for pics.
