Whether you're shooting with the SeaLife DC2000 (see SKU: SLF740) or another camera with a built-in flash, this Duo Light & Flash set is the perfect lighting system. The set combines the Sea Dragon 3000 Auto for shooting video, and when shooting stills, it senses your flash and shuts off momentarily to give you a brilliant and shadow-free image.

The Sea Dragon 3000 Auto delivers 3000 lumens over 120 smooth, even beam angle w/o hot spot on land & 90 U/W. Two red LEDs emit an 88 wide stealth mode" beam on land 66 U/W that won't scare away nighttime sea creatures & preserves your eye's natural night vision. Powered by a rechargeable 7.4V, 3400 mAh, 25Wh lithium-ion battery, the light burns for a 1-hour at 100% power w/its COB LED array (BridgeLux Gen 7 Vero LED Array - BXRE-50E4001-C-74). Constant brightness regulated circuitry, so light won't dim w/battery power. The Sea Dragon 3000 Auto's Auto Flash Detect Mode turns the light off for 1-sec. when an external flash is detected. This assures a well-lit photo & prevents shadows in images. Select the Auto Bright Mode & the 3000 light's photocell light sensor will automatically regulate brightness based on proximity to the object in 10-step brightness levels. The Sea Dragon 3000F is the most powerful photo-video light in its size/weight class. The Sea Dragon 3000F emits a warm 5000K color temperature & 80 CRI (color rendering index) adding vibrant colors & brightness to U/W pictures & videos. Emergency mode emits blinking light or SOS signal to alert others of distress.

The Sea Dragon 3000 Auto's Auto Flash Detect Mode turns the light off for 1-sec. when an external flash is detected. This assures a well-lit photo & prevents shadows in images. Auto Flash Detect Mode can also be turned off. The Sea Dragon 3000F ( F" stands for Flood beam) brightness can be adjusted manually or automatically w/its built-in photocell light sensor. The Auto Bright mode automatically adjusts from 300 to 3000 lumens based on proximity to the subject, helping to preserve your eye's natural night vision 7 extending battery life. The light can also be manually adjusted to 100%, 50% or 25% brightness. Note:
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time. The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim.

Reducing backscatter & producing rich, deep colors in underwater photos, the Sea Dragon Flash is compatible w/SeaLife camera models, & other brands of underwater cameras, that use an internal flash. Fine Tune Brightness for the Perfect Shot: Variable power adjustment & large controls make it easy to fine tune brightness, while leaving the flash in Auto Mode automatically adjusts brightness for optimal exposure. A quick-release button detaches flash head for aiming in hard to reach areas. The flash has an effective range of 8' (2.5m), w/a guide number of 66' (20m) full power/5' (1.5m) low power, at ISO 100 on land, w/a power adjustment range of 8% to 100% in auto or manual modes. The flash has an angle of coverage area 80 horizontal x 60 vertical (100 x 100 w/included diffuser). The Sea Dragon Flash provides a color temperature of 5700 K, 5400 K w/diffuser.

The control functions of the flash are Power (on/off), Test (program) & Brightness (manual/auto). The flash is powered by 4 AA batteries alkaline or NiMH AA batteries (NiMH recommended) which provide 150 flashes per set (300 at 1/2 brightness). 250 flashes at full brightness with Energizer Lithium AA. The recycle time is 1-sec. at 50% power or less and 5-sec. at full power. The flash is negatively buoyant, w/a housing made from fiber-reinforced polycarbonate w/marine grade stainless steel hardware. The flash head measures 5" x 4.5" x 2.5" (12.7cm x 11.4cm x 6.4cm), weighs 18 oz. (509 g) with batteries & uses dual NBR O-rings (lube included) seals. Like the video light the flash has a waterproof battery compartment.

Auto Learn Mode easily syncs pre-flash w/any digital camera.
