Questions & Answers

Shopper : How much weight can this carry? I'm looking for a cart/carrier to move a small (9') fishing boat and wanted to know if this would work for that?William R : I use this cart to move a Tahitian V3 canoe, its 36’ 135lb.DWIGHT W : I have a 74 lb wood/glass canoe and it rolls and maneuvers with no problem. The only issue with a fishing boat is reaching the support that holds the carrier up right and swinging it out of the way to roll it. If the beam is more that 50” or so it may be a little difficultROBERT C : I don't know the exact weight it can carry but it carries my 13' ocean kayaks with ease. It's 3 blocks to the Lake and It's like I'm not pulling a thing.
KEVIN S : The boat my customers have is very narrow it is about 10”. Is this cart adjustable so that it can accommodate such a narrow hull?Mark D : You can pivot the bars inward 90 degrees which brings the spacing to 12 inches vs 16. It might need a modification beyond that if one were willing to piece together a different way of mounting those bars to the frame. I carry a heavy 17 foot fiberglass canoe with gear in it, so it's sturdy enough to attach hardware to and even drill trough the frame if needed.DWIGHT W : The padded bars that support the hull are adjustable by swiveling them in and out but I’m not sure they will go in toward each other that close. Seems like you could make and easy adaptation by attaching a couple of short foam pool noodles perpendicular to the bars to make it work.
Shopper : tire diameter ?Bryan B : The tire diameter on my cart is 14.5".
Shopper : What are the specs on this cart. How wide, how tall, and what does it weigh?Mario C : Thank you for your questions. Axle Diameter: 17mm Cart Dimensions: 30.5in L x 16in W x 17.5in H Wheel Dimensions: 15in Dia. x 1.75in Thick Weight: 15lb, 8oz hope it helps.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?RONALD S : I compare it to others and this one seemed to be the best for the price!JEFFERY V : Good reviews on a product I need for transport of my canoe.LAURA E : Large wheels move better over rough terrain.Robert J : This has a more sizable capacity to handle my 18’ fiberglass canoe or my 18’ Little River Heritage rowing dory. And, the 16” all-terrain flat-free tires should be a godsend!David B : Seems to be the best optionStephen R : I had purchased a All-Terrain Center Cart last year and loved it for taking my canoe down to the lake. I made a mistake and put the cart in the canoe and while out in the lake I flipped the canoe over and down went the cart plus other items. Next time I will either leave the cart in my pickup bed or secure it to the canoe. Worth the price two fold. lol.....Neal Y : Best price and you offer military discount. Than you! Besides Amazon cancelled my order for the same item and offered no reason. . I will be doing business with you in the future.Antonio F : To whom it may concern: Hi! This is my first time here, the price is great. I will buy more items in the near future. THANKYOU!

Quality product for the price

This thing can haul my 17 foot fiberglass canoe behind my Cannondale MTB. Advice for anyone trying that, the only way I found to make that heavy canoe ride stable behind the bike was to mount a trailer hitch ball to my (high quality strong) bike rack, as far forward as possible, and permanently mount a custom built trailer tongue with hitch to the canoe so that it's really firmly attached. Dummy Stick might work for a small kayak, but not a big canoe. I love this dolly overall, especially the solid foam rubber tires, because goatheads around here are insane.

Pretty good cart

I bought this cart a year ago from LLBean and have used it a number of times. It was marketed as “heavy duty” but am a little reluctant to call it that. That said, it has done really well around the yard and down to the beach. I have taken it one time on what I would consider a rough trail and it fairly with some TLC. Bring extra straps to run for and aft because the single strap around the center of the boat WILL slip. Also, was very glad to have two people to lift the boat over larger roots and rocks. And do put extra padding on the corners of the bunks. I learned that the hard way. For the money I’d say this cart is pretty good.

I'm so impressed with this Card that I'm going to purchase a second one today for my other kayak.??

This is the 2nd kayak cart I had purchased. The 1st one would not turn at all I would not have recommended that to anybody. But the all terrain cart was perfect it rolls easy turns I have to walk 3 blocks to the beach to take the kayak I would recommend this to anyone. This cart is so good that today I'm gonna purchase a second one for another kayak I have for family and friends to use when visiting.

Easy to setup and tow

I tow my single person kayak about 1.5 miles to a lake and have used it twice to date. Seattle Sports ATC is easy to load and easily manageable on the road - just remember the wider turning circle. The stand is indispensable when loading the kayak - especially on the slope of the loading ramp. It feels quite sturdy but that is something I will find out after using it for a few months.

Made for v hull not all hulls.

I had to make modifications to fit the hull of my Native Mariner. This will fit any v hull right out of the box my tunnel hull rested on the tires. That being said after the fix I really like it easy to pull good and solid.

Great cart easy to use.

The Seattle Sports Paddleboy ATC is a great center cart for loaded canoes and kayaks, john boats, and other larger crafts, including dinghies and Lasers. The heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame breaks down nicely for low profile storage. New airless tires are flat-free and vibration reducing, made from solid urethane. A spring-loaded, extra-stable kickstand, adjustable padded top bars, and included cinch strap complete this super heavy-duty cart. The ATC has a 300 lbs. (136kg) weight capacity.
