You don't need that much lift necessarily with a rebreather but because of the width of the equipment on your back, it would probably be more comfortable and easier to maintain proper trim with a dual tank wing.

The X-Tek Form Tek Harness is a three-piece form harness system with padded shoulders and anatomically optimized backpack for the ultimate in comfort. Harness is equipped with quick release buckles on both left and right shoulders and a cross-chest sternum strap all for easy removal. The shoulder and sternum straps are adjustable for a custom fit and have squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Harness system is compatible with Scubapro's Stainless Steel or Aluminum Back-Plate which are convertible for single cylinder use.

The Form Tek System has more D-rings for attachment of accessories than most Tek setups on the market. Four large D-rings on the shoulders, two D-rings on the shoulder adjustment strap Ends, one on each side, Two D-rings on sternum strap, one on each end, six D-rings on padded back pack, three on each side, Two D-rings on waist strap, one on each side and a Two D-rings on the 2" (5.1cm) crotch strap. Waist strap is equipped with a stainless-steel latch style buckle. Harness can use an Optional QR-Weight System (see SKU: SCPWPQR).

This Scubapro X-Tek Backplate features an ergonomic shape for maximum comfort, control, and stability. It's the perfect additional to any tech or rec system. Made of corrosion resistant AISI 316 stainless steel. A variety of options and clip-on points are provided for attaching a storage pack or other accessories. A back plate enables you to reduce the ballast weight you carry on your belt or weight system. Back plate weights 5.3 lbs. (2.4 kg).

Scubapro's X-Tek Crotch Strap will fit back-plate's from Scubapro and other back-plate's which are slotted for 2" (5.1cm) nylon webbing. Crotch strap comes complete with 2 corrosion resistant stainless-steel D-rings for attachment of accessories; Crotch strap is adjustable for a custom fit. Webbing is easy to install and has durable box stitched loop for added strength on the waist strap attachment end. Crotch strap is also equipped with corrosion resistant stainless-steel bar slides for strap retention and adjustability.
