I've never been one to change up my fins-I'd been rocking the same Jetfins for a decade before I got the chance to try these, and now I need to figure out how to apologize to the old guard. I've used this fins everywhere from tropical to polar seas-wetsuit, drysuit, snorkel, freedive, SCUBA, flutter kick, frog kick, whatever the water was calling for that day and the Supernovas have answered the call. They've got the power to battle currents while fully loaded while being lightweight enough to keep on kicking. The ability to break them down for travel has come in clutch a few times already, and the color customization is an added bonus. Always nice to have another one-and-done option in the kit quiver.

I bought these a year ago to go and do some diving in the Bahamas. I was a big boy then so I needed the extra stiffness/power. At first I was concerned about the stiffness and that they might be too stiff. At the time, I bought my wife the regular 'seawing novas', which are also awesome. Hers was far more plyable and felt really cool to swim with. However, after just a few dives with mine, they broke in just fine. They are perfect now. Absolutely incredible. They are responsive to my kicks and feel incredibly nimble, while being accurate. I'm not sure that the 'non' supernovas are able to be rigid while doing angled kicks. (I mean don't get me wrong the regular novas feel great in a straight line.. but the super novas are like just absolutely incredible). I'm really happy with my purchase and would do it again.

I had to get used to these fins for only 2 or 3 dives, but now I absolutely love them! They are light, but very powerful and streamlined, making them excellent for countering any heavy currents underwater. You can switch out the foot pockets for a full foot pocket, or the blades in multiple colors, making your personalized gear set up complete!

These fins are amazing, great kicking power and comfort. A game changer with being able to change your foot pockets from boot pockets to closed pockets. Real easy to swap these pockets out AND the fact you can colour change your blade, skegs and foot pockets makes personalizing your dive style so much fun.

Bought these for my wife. She commented best pair of fins she has ever had. Her only hesitancy was she wished I had bought them in black. She read somewhere on the internet that white colored fins can catch the attention of sharks. Today we were lionfish hunting and the sharks did seem to hang with her more than my daughter and me who also had Seawing Supernova Fins but in black.

Truly great fins. Have also bought the full foot pockets for diving in temperate waters. Used them in Cancun and love them. They propel you through the water with ease. Bought them for traveling, and the way they break down works great. Will be using them when traveling for work.

I have been searching for this fin for over two decades. I've tried many fins, most recently using the Seawing "regular"nova and the Seawing *Super*Nova is the best fin I've ever used. It perfectly blends performance and power. The Supernova is a joy to dive with. I was genuinely surprised with my speed when I kicked hard. Great for frog or scissor kick. I also snorkeled with it and found it to be a good snorkel fin. The Supernova is better than advertised. The fins came apart easily with the tool which was awesome for packing. My favorite part was the adjustable foot pocket. My foot is a somewhat freakish 11.5 EEE (U.S. Mens) with an enormous arch. I bought a size large Supernova and moved the bungee back to the 3rd setting and it made an huge difference in comfort. For all you Michael Scott fans...That extra inch made everything better.

Supernova fins break down & reassemble easily to accommodate easier packing. The foot pocket is a more flexible & comfortable construction (on the open heel version) than on my Seawing nova fins. The Supernova fins seem a bit more flexible in the pivot, but still perform well.

I am an older diver and for years used twin jet fins. On a trip last year I was having difficulties in a strong current to the point I thought this may be my last dive. I saw the Scubapro advertisement for the Supernova fin and thought this is too good to be true, but rather than retire from diving I bought a pair. They are awesome. I quickly tried them out. I get more horsepower out of my kicks now look forward to an upcoming trip. Maybe these fins have given this old water boy a few more years (if I can still climb the boarding ladders:-).
