Scubapro Full-Face Mask, All Black

I've recently ordered a Mares Duel ADJ 62X 2nd stage but I've seen one of your Full Face Masks for sale not far from me. The chap was using your S600 with it, can you tell me if the mouthpiece on the S600 is the same as the Mares Duel ? I know you recommend Scubapro regulators but I'm trying to get full face mask diving on a budget.

Note: A700, G260 and R195 second stages cannot be connected to the mask due to the different size of the mouthpiece adapter.

Like previous reveiws I thought this mask thinin it would be great to dive with but I was wrong. 1st thing ...You need to use a certain regulator with this mask. NOT ALL REGULATORS WORK WITH THIS MASK. Had I known that alone I wound not have bought this mask. I had to buy a $600. regulator just to use this mask and still was not happy using this. Do the research before you purchase this mask.

I have had this mask for a long time but just started using it in the last three years at work. It is easier to use than a full commercial KMB and for the relatively light duty stuff that I do at work on scuba it is great. it is comfortable, lightweight, and has excellent field of view. For the work I do here in Hawaii on a tour Submarine it works fine and is a lot better than the Ocean Reef model that the company owns.

98% of the diving I do is industrial and work related. This mask is tough and reliable. I purchased our first one 8 years ago and it has been abused... still working fine. The only thing better is my super-lite 17. I have seen divers I have worked with who take to it without issue.

This mask is the bomb. I really enjoy using it. It took some practice sessions in the pool to work on clearing and underwater removal, but once youo get the hang of it, it shines. It's my cold water go to and I use it for search and recovery as well.

I purchased this mask as a possible alternative to an AGA mask for use in Search and Rescue. The price and the fact that the mask could use the Scubapro regulator I already use were a big consideration. The mask did not meet expectations. The mask comes with NO owners manual and NO instructions on how to properly mount the regulator or comms. One important note; the valve on the left side of the mask, as you look at the photo, is NOT an ambient air breathing valve, ala the ABV or Gill in the AGA, it is a DIN fitting. On the plus side the mask comes with an exploded view diagram, a parts list, and a fair quality padded bag. The mask has a good nose pocket and unlike the AGA you don’t have to rely on a nose block in the mask for clearing. The mask has a good field of vision. All things considered I’ll stick with the AGA.

Purchased in hopes to relieve jaw stress and fatigue associated with dentures, but never could get an adequate seal during fam course in pool. Abandoned the idea of using this full mask.

I remove heavy barnacles from boats in less than clean water. This product keeps those little creatures off my checks and sliding in my mouth with the dirty water when using a normal regulator. I can also whistle while I work!
