The perfect size to mate to my Hydros BC. Easy access and very secure. I used the accessory mount to secure it above my weight pocket.

This is just personal preference. There are 2 main things I didn't like about this knife. 1.) when you are returning the knife back into the sheath, you're likely to guide it into the sheath and then push it home with the palm of your hand. The knife is designed with a sharp pointy end on the handle that is not comfortable doing that. I don't like that. 2.) The sheath is designed so that you have *one* mounting option and *one* only. You can strap it to your leg. That's it. The sheath does not allow for any other mounting options, like on a belt or piece of webbing, etc. Not a very good sheath design in my opinion. Other than that, the knife seems to be a high quality instrument. I sent it back because of the things I mentioned, however.

Love the knife and the options to attach it to my gear out of the box. I chose to integrate it in my BCD but offers multiple ways to carry. Secure while diving and multiple uses under and out of the water.

Well made Scubapro knife. Love that the sheath connects directly to my Hydros BCD with two screws. Makes this very streamlined. Highly recommend.

I purchased two knives, mounted them onto two Scubapro Hydros with the Hydros mounting plates. The knives are a great addition to our gear. My wife likes the "smallest" of the knife. As Engineers, we like the construction and mounting apparatus.

I can confirm their are screws/Gromets to connect to BC pocket. I have not attached yet but lines up with holes and that is my planned attachment method to ScubaPro BC vs. leg straps which are attached at the moment. Beyond that, have not used so don't know about ease of use but blade locking seems pretty good. Don't think knife would fall out easily.

It's a knife and it cuts ! But yes the scuba pro comes with two mounting options - grommets for BCD or rubbers straps for arm or leg I chose the grommet option on the scuba pro glide BCD. Very handy - where you need it when you need it. I have 30 plus dives with this knife and have actually used it only once in an underwater situation. ( we really never want to HAVE to use it...right?) but it does the job when and if you need a knife. The sheath holds the knife securely with a one-finger release. Low profile, inconspicuous, but a super effective tool

I intended to use this as my primary dive knife. This knife is EXTREMLY sharp and works very well. I tested it by holding standard fiber line in one hand letting it dangle loosley and sliced downward at 45 degrees with the knife..... Cut the line in one stroke! It is however a bit small. When using 5mm gloves my hands completely engulf the handle making the grip feel a bit weak. I decided to make this my spearfishing knife instead. Great for braining fish and even prying oysters from their mounts. Overall this is a wonderful knife... Just wish it was a little larger (just two centimeters from perfection)

good knife
The Scubapro Mako Titanium Dive Knife incorporates a multi-function blade with a highly durable cutting edge. It is made from hardened titanium. Titanium being the ultimate material for light weight, long life, and corrosion free performance. The knife has a conventional straight edge for slicing easily through numerous materials and a serrated edge for sawing heavier ropes and branches. For lighter rope and fishing line the knife is also equipped with a line cutter. Once you're done diving open your favorite beverage with the convenient bottle opener. The knife tip is a tanto type.
The Scubapro Mako Knife has an overall length of 7.48" (19cm) with a blade length of 3.34" (8.5cm) and weighs 5.71 oz. (162g) with the sheath. The knife handle is a durable over-molded plastic with the knives continues blade (full tang) running through it. Handle is equipped with an extended thumb guard and at the bottle opener end of knife is an eyelet for attachment of a wrist lanyard. The durable plastic sheath with unique locking mechanism allows one hand release of the knife.
