Got one of these for my husband, and he liked it so much he suggested that I get one too. Good sized pockets and lots of well-placed rings. Very comfortable to dive in, super easy to clean. Dries quickly and a cinch to pack in our suitcase. The weight packs are standard with a zipper and clip, made it easy for my husband and I to exchange our weights during a dive. Highly recommend!

I have to travel for all of my diving. Been doing it for 55 years. Had four different travel BC and this is the best. Period

This BCD is much lighter and compact, which we needed because we - carry on - our gear in Dive Caddies. Our old BCDs were bigger and heavier. I'm happy with the purchase.

Have had this for about two years and have done about fifty dives with it. Great travel BCD-barely feels like you are wearing a BCD when on. Little inherent buoyancy-I dropped two pounds of weight compared to a regular BCD. Adheres to the body well and doesn't shift around. Packs small and is relatively light. Pockets are somewhat small when inflated but I really don't carry much. Integrated weights are a joy to use and would never go back to a weight belt. Dries quickly. Was diving in Belize and one of the local DMs was using for his everyday BCD. Definately would buy again. For comparison, I am 5'10-170 lbs. and the Medium fits me perfectly.

Good BCD for maintaining upright position and/or finning on back with no added finning exertion. 4/5 because zipper on pocket broke within first week. Excellent weight for a travel BCD

I was hesitant to spend this much on a travel BCD, but, I am happy I did. I was able to pack it as well as my reg.computer, mask, light, swimsuit, and couple of T shirts in my carry- on! I had all my gear except for wetsuit and fins in my carry-on.The weight pouches are very easy to load and insert into BCD.I believe I was able to drop a couple of pounds of lead using this BCD- which is always nice. I did not miss having a rigid back plate- as it was very comfortable to wear.I dried very quickly.

I just finished 14 Caribbean dives with this BCD ranging from 37ft to 115ft. I was a little skeptical about lack of a real backplate, but after I put a tank on it and walked from the shop to the boat, my skepticism vanished. The BCD is truly light weight. I got the XL and it easily folds up to fit in my carry on bag. The XL gives a whopping 42 pounds of lift making it suitable for usage with a drysuit. I put my BCD on in the water and had no problems, even though the straps are thin. In my opinion it floats more like a back inflate then a vest because of the way the BCD expands away from your body. I like the large dump knobs. Easy to find. 4 metal d rings. It comes with is own bag which is a nice plus I've seen some complaints about the pockets. They are small. With 4 pounds in each pouch (max 10 in each) I was able to access my slates, flashlight and cpr mask (out of its case) under water with no problem. 10 in each would probably be a different story. I like the 2 tank straps. I added 2 XS Scuba Single Weight Pockets to the top straps. Now I can add up to 30 pounds of lead Size. Thats tricky. For me 6 foot, 215 pounds, 38 inch waist, the XL was a little big in a 2mm suit. Manageable. I dive mostly 7mm with a 3mm vest. For that it fits perfectly I found it hard to really find anything negative to say about the BCD other then lack of trim pockets. Some may think the bladder material is too thin. Not a real issue if you control your buoyancy and stay off the coral as you should do anyway

This is a nice travel BC due to its durability and weight, however, it is far too large and does not match the sizing charts provided by SP. I am 5'8", 160 pounds and a fit build, and the medium BC is way too large. With only a rash guard, the shoulder straps and cumberbund have to be cinched all the way down and there is still too much play across my waist and chest, so the BC constantly floats up on me. If diving in a wetsuit, the fit would be much better, but I bought this specifically for long-haul tropical diving flights where every pound counts in my checked luggage and so I wish I would have bought one size down.

Superb travel BCD. Light , compact but durable and robust with it. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. It arrived within a week and I am in the middle east. Hard to fault either manufacturer or retailer, I will buy Scubapro equipment from this site again. I have recommended it to my students.

Adam's review is complete, accurate and says it all. I will add that the way this BC folds up into its own bag is just fantastic. In fact I am going 5 stars because to me that outweighs the pocket issues. I think small pockets are to be expected in a travel BC. I also got the AirII and love it.

I love this BC. As advertised, it's lightweight, and easy to pack. However, when it's on, it doesn't seem or look all that different from a non-travel BC. It has way more lift than I need(I got the XL, and it fits me perfect). In fact, just by switching to this BC, I need 6lbs less than usual. It's also very easy to get on and off, in or out of water, and quick and easy to fold up and pack it back in it's bag. If I were going to complain, I'd have 2 things really. The first is that once you have the weight pockets in, there's not room to keep much in your pockets. Once you inflate at the surface, it's very tight to reach into them for anything. Not that big of a deal for me though. And 2, it holds 20lbs weights max. There are no trim pockets, but I suppose you could add some. However, its very lightweight, and the amount of weight I needed went down. Even in a 5mil wetsuit, I only needed 10lbs, and I'm 250lbs @ 5'11". So this was a great buy to me, because I don't enjoy really cold water. So if I needed to gear up enough that I needed more than 20lbs, I don't think I'd be going at all.

Go dive the world. That's our message with this true travel BC. Lightweight, easy to pack and extremely comfortable, it includes an integrated weight system and other original features, as well as Scubapro quality, style and spirit of adventure. The large size weighs less than 6 lbs. (2.7 kg). The Scubapro Go BCD has a single-air cell that provides high buoyancy and maximum comfort for travel divers. The Go BC has 22.5 lbs. (10.2 kg) of lift on the X-Small size and 42.7 lbs. (19.4 kg) on the X-Large. Made from light and resistant 210 Denier Nylon material covered in polyurethane makes the Go BC tuff, yet lightweight for travel. Packing your BC for your next adventure is made easy with the Go's foldable Airnet backpack that is lightweight and soft, without rigid elements. The entire BC can be easily folded, secured with a dedicated buckle and stored in its own travel sack.
Scubapro's quick-release integrated weight system allows perfect buoyancy and fast weight release in the event of an emergency. High profiles, easy to access zippered pockets are reinforced with strong mesh for long wear and quick drying. BC is equipped with double tank straps that provides extremely good balance in any position and reduces pressure on your back. Great lightweight rotating shoulder strap buckles add comfort and fit. Accessory attachment is made easy with the large size aluminum D-rings placed right where you need them. BC has side grommets for Scubapro knife attachment. There is also an Octopus Holder for easy access in an emergency out-of-air situation. Multiple pull dumps on shoulders and lower rear makes releasing air fast and easy. Depth-compensating cummerbund with quick release waist strap gives a stable and comfortable feel with any exposure suit. BC has an adjustable sternum strap.
Buoyancy control is facilitated with the Scubapro Balanced Inflator mechanism, right shoulder and left bottom overpressure relief/dump valves with pull cords. Scubapro's Balanced Power Inflator provides a high inflation speed, especially at depth. Inflator has different shaped inflation and purge buttons for easy use even in extremely low light or murky water conditions. Inflator is also equipped with a rapid pull dump mechanism with cable pull for easy deflation of the air bladder. Included with the inflator is a 3/8" threaded low-pressure hose for attachment to the first stage regulator. The Go BCD comes with an owner's manual and is available in multiple sizes.
