Great design! We tried about a dozen different fins during our Open Water training. Almost from the moment I tried on the Seawings I knew they were the choice for me. Just returned from a trip to Roatan where I used them for diving and for snorkeling. They fit great, provide tons of power, and they make maneuvering a breeze.

I've had these fin for 6 years and they have awesome power. I use less energy during my dives. I would give them a 5 but the foot pocket is stiff and they are the lightest fins. But the quality is top notch.

Surprisingly best fins I've ever used. Comfortable pocket. Don't fatigue legs and superior maneuverability with strong propulsion. Wish I had purchased these many different fins ago. Last pair I believe I'll have

The Seawing Nova is comfortable, relatively light weight, and delivers impressive power and maneuverability in the water. Frog, helicopters, back finning all work well. I wonder if a traditional blade like the Jet or RK3 would perform better with sideways movements as in back finning if compared side by side, but I don't find it lacking at all. The forward power of flutter kicks is impressive and the efficiency seems very good. They are also surprisingly light for the form factor and size-- I'm betting that would compare favorably to the two mentioned above for travel and handling. An all around performer. I don't think anyone would be disappointed.

A bit bulky but worked well on simple shallow dives and deeper drift dives. Great fins!

I've had these fins a while now and would not swap them for anything else when diving. They are extremely comfortable and I very rarely get cramp when wearing them which I suffer with badly when wearing other makes. They are too big for training in the pool but a pair of Scubapro Go fins sorted that problem out.

Just bought as a replacement for the last fins I had for 19 years. These were a great replacement.

They have power both power and precision that I don't think you'll find in another fin. Interested to see how long they last, but will get another pair when the time comes.

I just made a recent trip to warm water and tried my sewing nova fins for the first time. I've been a longtime user of the gorilla fins, but they are just too stiff and burly for warm water diving. The Seawings are softer, supple in the water and gave me great control over all my movements on a couple great dives. Top notch fins!!

I wanted to love these fins. Unfortunately, I have high arches, and SP Customer Service acknowledges their foot box doesn't fit well for people whose feet have high arches. Unfortunately, Leisure Pro's pressure free guarantee only applies if you can absolutely make an item work in some size. If the item simply won't work for you period, well, too bad that you didn't have a crystal ball. The guarantee doesn't apply to you, then. Just normal unworn merchandise return policies with paid return shipping.

Based on other reviews I was ready to hate these for the first few days. I did not hate them, but I didn't love them either. They feel wide and seem to 'slip' sideways at times- I think this is because of the curved wing tips. After making about 20 dives with them over the week, I've decided I do really like them. They are super comfortable. I had no foot fatigue or sore spots even after 3-1 hour dives in a day. The few times I needed to go against the current, my buddy noticed how I seemingly effortlessly glided ahead while he was struggling. I chose the white ones. When diving with limited visibility my fellow divers noted how they liked that they could pick my fins out of the mist.

I bought these after multiple recommendations from other divers and my Advanced Scuba instructor allowed me to dive with his. Great fins plenty of propulsion under water and easy on your legs. They are easy to get on and off and they float.

Medium size works good for 10.5 shoe. I tried to get large first and it was too big! I got it shipped back was taken care! That was nice! Comfortable in the water.

1000 dives on my first pair and still holding strong. floating fins are a must for me. i would have lost these several times over if not for the floating feature.

As a dive instructor, these have been perfect 200+ dives on my 1st pair. Dozens of dive trips, usually packed tightly. Always stored indoors. Bought an identical second pair

It did take me a day to get used to the different feel from my other fins (which are split fins), but I stuck with it on my 2nd day of diving, and was glad I did. Now I love these things, even more so than my split fins (which I still like as well). These are now my primary fins, and my split fins relegated to backup fins. I'm glad I took a chance on them!

I used these fins on a recent trip to Roatan. They were awesome. lightweight and great KICK when you needed it. I'm a recreational diver, with over 200 (warm water) dives logged. I'm not doing anything fancy, but i know what I'm doing. I've had the Oceanic split fins, the mares avanti quattro +, the aqua lung stratos (full foot) and the mares X stream- (i prefer the X stream for snorkeling for what it's worth) None of them provided the kick that the Seawing Novas gave me. I'm not a small dude - 240lbs. But when there was a fish/turtle/ray that i needed to see, these fins got me there FAST, even in a current. As you may have noticed, i've been on the search for the best set of fins i can find. I'm no longer searching. Just drop the extra money. you won't regret it.

I trialled these fins for 22 dives in the Red sea in a variety of conditions. At first they felt awkward but by the end of the week I loved them. I have a tendency to get cramp but I didnt get a cramp all week in spite of having to kick against strong current and a couple of long surface swims. They deliver power when you need it. Rumour has it you cant frog kick with them. Nonsense, I can. So easy to put on when on a crowded boat platform. They are a little heavy due to the full foot pocke...

woah - this thing is a rocket !!!
By VIC W.
No fatigue at all, speaks of its efficiency. For serious wreck penetration, I would still stick with my Rocket Fins2 (since you don't need crazy speed). This would easily smoke my other 2 fins in a "foot" race using a flutter kick. They are positively bouyant. Frog kicks - it feels a little funny because of the upward lip no the side edges of the fin, but still works well. Strongest frog kick is probably from the Tusa's but they are just too stiff. The divemaster tried these to tie down on t...

If you are the type of diver who wants cutting edge technology with you at depth, look no further that the Scubapro Seawing Nova Fins. This fin comes with the security of the Scubapro name with the thrill of Scubapro innovation. The Seawing Nova combines classic Scubapro fin technology with the latest innovations in hydrodynamic design and cutting-edge materials. This fin has the power, acceleration and maneuverability of a paddle fin with the comfort, efficiency and effortless speed of split fins.
The Seawing Nova brags of having an articulated joint, which will propel you through the water with ease, speed, agility, and amazing comfort. What makes the Seawing Nova so amazing? First, it has variable blade geometry; second, it has an articulated joint. What is an articulated joint? Think about how a dolphin's tail moves as it swims; the natural structure of the tail bends as if it is on a hinge and provides the dolphin with remarkable power. The same science was applied during the development of the Seawing Nova. The variable blade geometry brings us back to the dolphin. As a dolphin's tail moves upward, the tips bend down a bit to make it more streamlined. The Seawing Nova's edges do the same thing as the diver's kick is on the upward swing. As the foot moves downward, the fin flattens out to create an amazing amount of power and thrust. The articulated joint allows the blade to pivot and the entire blade is able to generate thrust. Pivot control technology ensures the most efficient angle of attack is maintained no matter how hard or softly you kick, generating thrust without drag or wasted energy.
The Seawing Nova fins are made using high-tech Elastomer Monoprene construction, which means they are stronger and more flexible than you'll ever need them to be. Variable pivot control ribs ensure that the most efficient angle of attack is maintained across all strengths of kick. An added bonus to the Seawing Nova fins is the bungee heel strap. This design frees you from fumbling with heel strap clasps (a true pain for people wearing thick dive gloves and nearly impossible for those wearing dive mitts) and the annoying task of cinching down your heel straps. Simply slide the strap over your heel and you're ready to go with a perfect fit. Go ahead give them a try; you won't be sorry. The Seawing Vented Fin is available in multiple sizes.
