The Tec 40 leaked at 40 feet. The shock wave worked well but the light is dim below 60 feet. I did not take out the flair but if the other two lights are an indication then it will be dim for what is needed in the PNW (Pacific North West).

Great light set for the $$. I have put about 10 night dives on it and used all off the lights. The bigger light was very bright. All of my buddies were jealous. The Strobe works very nicely and can be seen blinking with no problems. I primarily use the middle light as a backup but my buddy has swapped it from me instead of his slightly bigger lite because it was brighter. You can spend the same amount on 1 light or you can get all you need to jump in and dive at night or in the dark safely. I recommend this product.

Tropic Pack uses proven PTEC Designs and Technology in a set of lights for purists and beginners alike. All three lights in the pack are depth rated to 330' (100 meters). Princeton Tec Tropic Light Pack Shockwave II uses a dual filament Xenon bulb, ensuring that you still have light in the event that a filament burns out. The Shockwave II allows you to power up from 7.5 watts to 15 watts of power with the flip of a switch. The economical 7.5-watt output mode burns for up to 10 hours and provides plenty of light for most diving conditions. For those pitch black nights, wreck diving and dark crevices, simply flip the switch to the screaming bright 15-watt output mode for 4 hours of burn time. Princeton Tec's innovative dual filament multi output bulb system eliminates the need for two bulbs and complex switching systems.
The Shockwave ll's 205 lumens of warm incandescent light is sure to bring out the true beauty of the ocean. While LEDs have recently taken the forefront in the dive light world, Xenon dive lights are still preferred by many divers for their lighter weight and color temperature that has the ability to bring out the natural colors of the reef. Light comes with 8 C-cell alkaline batteries, and weights 26 oz. (737 g) with batteries. The Shockwave II has a pistol grip handle with an adjustable rubber shrouded wrist lanyard.
The Tec 40 is a twist bezel handheld with a rubber over-mold for secure grip of its impact resistant body. This compact halogen unit provides the highest power-to-weight ratio of any light in its class. The non-slip rubber grip ensures you'll be able to securely hold the light, even if you're diving at 330' (100 meters). The twist-activated switch prevents accidental turn-on/off. The halogen bulb provides a warmer light underwater, light is great for backup, or as a primary daytime light, as the warm light is phenomenal for restoring lost colors on the reef. With a classic dive light look and feel you'll find this to be one handy light.
The halogen lamp produces 28 lumens of brightness and is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (included). Light has a 5 hour burn time with a focused narrow beam. The Tec-40 weighs 6.38 oz. (181 g) with batteries and comes with an adjustable wrist lanyard.
The Eco Flare's Flashing Red LED and Wide Angle Cone create a marker light. A vital part of any outdoor enthusiast's equipment bag, the Eco Flare can be set on constant, high-output, incandescent mode for use as an area/personal locator light, or on flashing, red ultra-bright LED mode for low-visibility, dark nights. The ultra-bright LED will burn in excess of 500 hours on 2 (included) AAA alkaline batteries. The Eco Flare can also be attached to your dog's collar for easy identification in low light conditions.
Light comes with a built-in clip and lanyard for attachment to gear or pet. The LED provides 10 lumens of brightness and the light weighs 1.48 oz. (42 g) with batteries. The Tropic Light Pack is available in multiple colors and comes with operating and maintenance instruction manuals.
