The Xstream's second stage regulator boasts a high-flow design, delivering 76 standard cubic feet per minute of gas. Its upstream servo-valve design features a safety valve opening pressure of 261 +/- 14 psi, and the durable PVC housing and metal mechanism ensure lasting performance in even the toughest conditions. An automatic Venturi assist and inhalation control provide additional convenience and ease of use.
The Xstream's first stage regulator features a balanced rolling diaphragm ball valve design that ensures extreme leak tightness, even in the face of war, misalignment, or manufacturing imprecision. With fewer O-rings than other regulators, this first stage boasts optimized hose routing for a redundant system using two regulators, and its HP ports are positioned for easy use with gas monitoring computers.
Additionally, the Xstream's first stage boasts a built-in Poseidon T.D.A (Thermo-Dynamic Anti-Freeze) system that requires no maintenance and provides thermodynamic protection to prevent freezing in even the coldest waters. The regulator can free-flow air in the fresh water of 32.5F for at least 10 minutes and remain unaffected. The first stage regulator is constructed from chrome-plated brass and is easily identifiable for O2 use only with its green DIN hand wheel.
