These are some of the features of this Pelican Protector Case that offers total protection for your equipment. It is made of ultra-high impact structural polypropylene that makes it extremely strong and durable. Its exclusive polymer O-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. Your equipment can fit into the high-density foam of the case for total subjection and protection against impact, vibration or shock. Custom fit your stowage of equipment for maximum protection with the Pick N Pluck foam with convoluted lid foam. Pick 'N' Pluck foam is pre-perforated in small cubes for easy removal of foam cubes and allows easy shaping of for custom sizing around all types of items. Just measure your equipment and pluck away the 1/2" (12.7 mm) cubes for a customized fit. Three-piece foam set contains one 1" (2.54 cm) base pad layer, one Pick' N Pluck cubed polyethylene foam layer and one 2" (5.1 cm) convoluted egg crate" top lid foam layer.
This case has IP-67 (Ingress Protection), and is tested in accordance to DEF STAN 81-41/STANAG 4280. Protected from dust and against the effects of immersion in water to depth between 6" to 3.3' (15 cm to 1 meter). Case has interior dimensions of (L x W x H) 9.25" x 7.12" x 4.12" (23.50 cm x 18.1 cm x 10.46 cm), with a volume of 271.34 cubic inches (4.45 liters). The external dimensions are (L x W x H) 10.62" x 9.68" x 4.87" (26.97 cm x 24.6 cm x 12.37 cm). The case weighs 42.4 oz. (1,202 g) and with the foam weighs 45.9 oz. (1,301 g).
