Pelican boxes are reliably dry and durable. This one was no exception. I like the bright yellow color for visibility and the carabiner to hook it into my kayak behind my backband. The 1050 easily fits my phone, car key, and a mask for shuttle.

Bought one for my father as a gift. They're great for holding your cell phone, keys, money etc. No sand, water or sunscreen gets in. In the past I went snorkeling with it (sketchy country) but it's bulky and i don't recommend in case a wave comes. I have an older model that had a wrist band not a caribeaner. I prefer the wrist band, they should bring that back. This updated one has more padding, but less square inches because of that. I ended up getting my dad the 1060 because his large iphone7 doesn't fit in this one, but my galaxy 7 does.

Spare computer batteriy, small screwdriver, extra mouthpiece, O-rings, 2 zip ties. A small tube of silicone grease, A small tube of de-fogger, Small lanyard with clip , And a few first aid items....all in this little pelican case . I've carried it around for a few years and beat the hell out of it and water has never seen the inside . Pelican cases are the best protection

I use the dry box to store items such as wallet & cell phone on the boat while I am kayaking, fishing and scuba diving. It keeps these items dry and appears to be well built.

I use these cases for everything I want to keep dry on the Dive boat. I carry my Digital Camera, Strobe batteries, my extra SD cards. All my spare parts and manuals that I might need. My wallet goes in them. They are great around the pool on vacation for your keys and extra cash. Anything you want dry and safe.

Love these things. I bought two to go in my kayak. Be sure you check the size you are buying. I did not pay attention to that and bought one too small. They come in different sizes so make sure you are gettting one big enough. Found a use for it anyway. Watertight and sturdy.

It works great for my dive computer I own, Sunnto Vyper Air3. It keeps it safe in the bag or on the boat. I have the one with the clear lid, and I like that feature.

I use this size as my "save a dive box".....instead of buying an expensive "save a dive kit" I assemble the pieces much more economically, and use this box to carry on boat dives. It handles: a mask strap, fin strap, zip ties, extra batteries for my dive computer, silicone grease, a "scuba tool", a bunch of O-rings, the little bottle of alcohol to clean my ears & car keys. Perfectly dry, very very sturdy, and in bright yellow, easy to see. Pelican products rock.

This case is perfect for stashing my glasses, wallet and cell phone. It's especially good for boat diving, where my glasses are most at risk. If you are looking to store anything larger than what I've listed above, though, you should get a bigger case. It would be a good deal even at the MSRP so it's a real bargain at its current price.
