The suit is OK, but the legs are very short compared with other brands. Overall, not a lot warmer than a 3mm suit.

I am very happy I ordered Pinnacle Escape 5 mm for my daughter to learn to swim. It has offered her freedom to be buoyant and work on her arm strokes as well as increase her endurance while in the pool. Her Coach too is impressed with her progress in just a few lessons. Thank you David from Leisure Pro for helping me chose the right size, easy to put on and take off, and user friendly wet suit. I strongly recommend this brand to any one, beginners to any one thinking of using one. My Daughter is overjoyed she can swim on her own.

I just got back from a trip where I used the Pinnacle Escape 5 mm short sleeve shorty men’s wetsuit. I like it very much. It is easy to get on and off. I do not need someone to help me with a zipper up the back as is the case with most wetsuits. It fits me well. I am 250 lbs, 6’4” tall, 45 inch waist, and 48 inch chest. I ordered the 4XL size and it was the right size. The wetsuit was tall enough for me. I always have a camera with me. I was worried that if the suit was not tall enough, it would make my arms tired as I struggled to get the camera out in front of me. That was not the case. Sometimes, when getting into the wetsuit, I would start the zipper before I tried to get into it. This way, it would be sort of like stepping into a pair of shorts. I would often unzip the zipper a little and put a bottle of defog against my chest for easy access. I would never have done that with a zipper in the back. I have not one single complaint about the suit. I recommend it.

It is comfortable. I bought it to wear under a Henderson Semi-Dry suit that I got from Leisure Pro, for extra warmth in the Winter time. I had to exchange the Large for an XL, but returns are very easy with Leisure Pro.

this wetsuit is nice because its a front zip and you simply step into it. there are not a lot of 5mm shorties out there-this one is a bargain at the price listed. furthermore, you can we are a 3/2 under it and it provides exposure protection almost as good as a regular 7mm better than buying a 7mm you rarely use.

I purchased this to wear in a triathalon, so I wanted mainly good buoyancy. When my friend saw it she told me not to wear it in the water and send it back because it was designed for warmth and not buoyancy. I did not wear it in for the event, but wish I had. Before sending it back, I decided to wear it in a local swimming pool. I bobbed to the top like a rubber ducky. I absolutely love it. I will be wearing it in all future outdoor swimming events. Also, very easy to get into and out of. Perfect for the time constraints of transitioning to the next leg of the tri. Am so glad I bought it! Even more glad I did not take my friends advise and send it back.

I love Pinnacle suits. I have a 3mm full and it works like a semi dry. This shortie is the same. I love it too. I now have 3 shorties. One back zip, one front zip, and the front zip Pinnacle. The back zip is hard to get into and get zipped up. The other front zip is very hard to get out of without help. The Pinnacle is very easy both on and off. No assistance needed. And it is warm. I got it mainly for snorkeling cold water. But since water exchange is so low I'm going to try it on shallow cold water dives.

I get cold fast while swimming, expecially when the weather is o the cold side and the clouds block the sun. This does a good job keeping me warm.

I am 6’5” x 250 lbs, it fits me perfectly on top of two shark skin shirts and pants. I have tried the 7 mm with the hood but I had to return it since it was too Short on the torso

Used this neoprene jacket over a 3mm shorty wet suit for cold water snorkeling in the Galapagos. It was perfect for extra warmth and the full zipper makes it easy to get on over another wetsuit.

I bought this for extra exposure protection. At times a 7mm just doesn't cut it and can take away the enjoyment of a dive. I was able to try this out this weekend and it performed like a champ. The water was cold enough that others complained about the temperature, especially on the first dive at 8 am. The extra 5mm provided me 12 mm of protection on the upper arm, where I tend to feel the effects of the cold when diving. The dives were very comfortable, thus the jacket was well worth the price. Extra weight will be needed, in my case it was worth the price of admission.

Being a taller / larger guy, I found this difficult to get in to / out of. I like the concept and if Pinnacle would design this exact same shorty with the zipper in the back (hint, hint), I'm buying one. I just didn't like the front zipper on my thigh and I needed help getting out of it. Someone had to pull the shorty down off my shoulders in order to start the process of taking it off.

Bought to wear over a full length 3/2 for diving in the Galapagos cold water sites. Perfect for this. VERY easy to take on/off. Fit perfectly over the 3/2. May be a little uncomfortable by itself due to the front zipper design, but can't beat the ease of on/off when worn over the other suit. Killer value.

I was a little nervous as I am a little shorter and a little rounder and I thought it wouldnt fit. It fits perfectly and added 5 mils to my core thermal protection. It is easy to get in and out of and is very flexible and comfortable to wear.
