This is useful for cold water diving if you don’t use a BC to hold your weights. I use a weight belt unless I am in a tropical location and don’t need much weight. I also like this belt for traveling, dive boats usually have weight so I can use this belt if I am diving in cooler waters. I like the ease of adding weight and the comfort of the belt. In general, a rubber weight belt is best for a thick wetsuit in cold water, but this is pretty good.

Bought the 5-pocket for a 34" waist. The pockets do not locate exactly where I want (and are fixed) but overall feel is nice. The buckle could be a bit thicker material.

I've been diving for over 20 years, i wish i had this belt all along. I don't like integrated weight systems in my BC, im old fashioned i guess, so i wear weight belts. I've tried all kinds and im glad i kept trying different styles because i learned what works, what dont, what's comfortable, what's not, what holds up, what don't. Key points are, 1)metal clasp(ive broke plastic ones) 2) padding between you and the weight(after using it, i realized thats the best feature) 3) anti slip lining so it stays where you put it. 4)easily change amount of weight and location for trim. 5) i got pockets all the way around and use the front 2 for storage. 6) no zippers to break. 7) good price. (I've had more expensive belts, with far less features ) If my belt gets lost, stolen, or wears out, i'll order another one just like it. I can't imagine anything else that could be done to improve on this belt except maybe more color choices. But even if this belt only came in neon pink, I'd still wear it proudly, because its the best belt I've ever tried, and its not the most expensive. Thats a win win. Id give it more stars if more were available.

we used our new pinnacle weight belts a couple of wks ago for 5 consecutive days. we decided it was a great investment. they are very comfortable and super easy to operate. i like the peace of mind knowing i can a weight belt easily in an emergency, which is why i prefer a weight belt (as opposed to weights in my bcd). this belt is very secure when worn, yet easy enough to release if necessary. comfortable on my back, too! highly recommend. small investment for great comfort and ease of use!

This belt is comfortable to wear if it stays in place - I prefer the weights to be on my back. But no matter how tight I made it, it would rotate and I would find the weights on one side, or completely at my front. So I find myself constantly shifting the belt back into place. (In fairness, this might be an issue with any pocketed weight belt.) Second, after one week of diving, and despite rinsing the belt with fresh water after each dive, the buckle has started to rust. That said, the weight pockets are great and it feels good when in the proper position.

I use my weight belts on a daily basis. Most or garbage and very poorly made and quickly fall apart. This belt is extremely well made. Most shops will not carry this quality due to price most likely. It is worth every penny because it will outwear 3 of the other belts.

This would be a 5-star belt, except for the metal buckle that has a very sharp edge along the back of the front lever. After diving with this new belt and letting it drop out of my left hand as I took it off my waist, this thing sliced right into my ring finger very deeply. Give the buckle a good sanding when you pull it out of the box and learn from my mistake!

Buckle is pretty though and made of steel not a foil, pockets are securely closed and anti-slipping strip works fine. The only thing- I wish the strap could be not so soft

Just used this on a week of diving in Jamaica and it performed flawlessly. It is comfortable and easily holds any weights you need to place in it. If it is tough getting the weights in or out, just take the belt off or loosen it, but I was able to load and unload while wearing. Perfect belt for travel when using the resort weights. My wife and I didn't have to fight for the right size belt on the boat and set it up every day. We were usually the first to be geared up and relaxed because of the belt. I did notice some wear (not really fraying) around the belt where the buckle secured, but nothing alarming or serious. The D rings are great and held my camera and light with no issues. They were out of the way, but easily accessible when needed. I also attached my knife to the belt. Great buy. Best belt out there IMO.

I bought this weight belt for pool training. I'm doing my dive master course and normally use a weight integrated system but this is not best system for demonstrating skills in open water courses. I can do all the weight related skills more easily than with a traditional weight belt, add or subtract weight in seconds and easily carry extra weights to give to students. Also it is very comfortable to wear.

Easier for boat entry than having everything in the integrated BCD. Also easier for the boat crew to load and unload equipment when I wear the weights rather than have a fully loaded BCD.

I bought the five pocket belt... Got the vinyl coated weights for it and they fit perfect... Ordered a lot of stuff from Leisure Pro.... Can't say enough good things about them...

I have block weights which I use with a traditional weight belt. I wanted something easier to use especially as it relates to weight adjustments and decided to give this a try. Since then I haven't used my regular weight belt. While soft weights would suit this perfectly my 5 pound block weights fit easily and snugly into the pockets. The internal padding makes them feel soft against me and provides ample comfort. With the pockets I can easily determine before hand how I want to distribute my weights and no longer have to be concerned with shifting weights or using weight holders. This process is quick and painless. On the inside their is rubber which reduces slippage. This works perfectly with my wet suit and also my rashguard when scuba or freediving. I would defintely buy again.

Definitely the best weight belt I've ever used! I use this belt for snorkeling only since I dive a BP/W w/weight pockets. It is a little bit wider from top/bottom than I thought it would be but it's not a big deal as it's very comfortable. The rubber no-slip strip on the inside of the belt is great as it keeps the belt from spinning around you as you swim or moving up/down when you descend or ascend. The accessory rings are also handy for clipping small items to such as a small light or camera. I'm a 40" waist & got the 5 pocket belt & it fits well although the pockets only reach from side to side, not all the way around the front of my torso. It's nice having an odd number of pockets so that weight is evenly distributed if I want to use an odd number of weights. If I want an even number I just put another pound in the center pocket in the back & it's balanced.

This literally feels like a glove - there's 1" wide rubber inner lining so it doesn't shift. I could easily use the 4 pocket, but chose the 5 pocket for better weight distribution because of a center pocket. Cinched up all the way, the 5 pocket will accomodate 28". Works best with soft weights.

i bought this as a back up weight system, and have loaned it out a few time. very handy to have, and has saved a few dives for those that have forgotten or lost their weights.

I have been diving for twenty five years and I have always used a weight belt. I do not care for integrated BCD's. This weight belt that I purchased has got to be the most comfortable weight belt that I have ever used. I use to use the old style web belt with hard lead weights. Very uncomfortable. I am now a very satified diver. Laredo Scuba Diver

Just got back from Curasao and made 11 dives with this belt. Much more comfortable than my old belt. Good quality.

If you aren't weight integrated this weight belt is a must! The belt with padded pockets stops the weights from digging in, and allows easy changing of the weights. Have logged 30 dives with this belt and no problems.

This belt is great in most aspects. I really like the D-rings The only problem I've experienced is that the pocket flaps are rather thin. I discovered a 3/4" tear in mine after only one dive. Otherwise, the overall construction feels very sturdy. Nice stainless steel clip.

It's a nice, comfortable weight belt. However, after only 1 dive, I was very disappointed to see that the pocket had already started tearing.

I bought this belt after buying the mesh weight belt from LP. The Pinnacle Comfo Belt absolutely smokes the mesh belt (which isn't terrible, just not great). The Pinnacle easily held a couple of my 6# hard weights, is indeed comfortable, doesn't slip, and is well made. A fantastic weight belt.

I dive in very cold water and have to wear a lot of weight (28 lbs.). This belt is very comfortable, doesn't shift when I'm wearing it, doesn't leave bruises on my hip bones, and distributes the weight more evenly...
