Shopper : are the red book pages nitrox compatable? or will I need the inserts?JAMES L : Hi, The 2009 version of the PADI logbook does have a line for "Enriched Air Dive Blend%". But the 2011 edition dropped that line and now has 3 lines for mixed air, using an open circuit or rebreather. We dive Nitrox as well and just use the line for "Open-circuit or rebreather diluent: Air/EANx. %". Hope this helps, JimLeisurePro S : Need inserts
Shopper : How many pages are in the red book? Do you have loose pages that are also 5 1/2 x 8 by PADI?LeisurePro S : I believe its 50 logs. We do you have loose pages PADI Adventure Log Refill Pages

Paid detailed dive log book.

Perfect book for detailed write-up after each dive. I am on book 15. They have doubled in price the last few years. May look for a lower priced book next time.

Gold standard

Yaay! It's a log book. Nothing beats a manual entry log book. No batteries, no computer needed. Just a pen. For use with any dive computer.

Padi Dive Log

Same Padi dive log except a few cosmetic changes of the pages. Still has all the categories, check boxes and same number of pages to fill in all the info from your dive. Outside cover has also changed, no longer red but blue with a new picture.

Tons of nothing but dive logs in a book.

Nothing but pages and pages of dive logs. It’s perfect for continuing logging dives after you’re out of training and just want the book style dive logs. Much better than the loose dive log pages.

Gets the job done but too expensive.

Good but overpriced. Leisurepro's price is competitive, this thing just costs too much. It is a little pamphlet. But it has all the necessary data points.

I would buy again

This log book differs from the one with blue cover because does not have the initial pages were you log your specialties: just basic log pages.

Great Pricing

I am a PAID IDC Staff Inst. and they offered pricing that was better than I could purchase these logs books directly from PADI Pro web site. Perhaps I should start paying my annual dues to Leisure Pro...!!! Great service and fast delivery...

Good overall Log Book!

I like this log book setup that PADI has. Has the fields that you need without a ton of stuff that you don't. I would sometimes prefer a little more space for comments but most of the time it's plenty of space. The new version has a space for more information on gases as well as multiple tanks for tech diving. Older versions didn't have that.

Great for the memories

The log books allow great adjunct to dive computers. We have started adding photo chips or disk for every few pages with captured images of the dives we have made. Hand written comments make each dive more memorable and wonderful. The photos bring the words to life.

Just about perfect for my needs

Easy to use and has places for almost everything you might want to log except time in and out and that's easy enough to write in. I keep a detailed log on my computer with my ScubaPro Galileo, but I still keep a paper log for several reasons: - Tradition, I got into the habit and I enjoy doing it. - If you every show up at a strange place for an advanced dive and they want to check your experience, a zippered binder with your log books is the simple3st place to keep that info - Doing the tables (based on average depth to prevent the 2nd and third dives of the day from becoming Deco dives) helps me to review the physiology behind RNT and the like. The new version of the RED PADI book is just about perfect for my needs.

Convenient, you can record everything

Has all the boxes to enter everything about the dive - bottom time, depth, temp, weights, conditions, your gear and dive attire, decompression limits and lets you add up your total dive time. Lots of room to record your observations, comments and reminders for future reference. I used to use loose leaf pages but needed a large zipper filed holder. With this, it is more compact. Extra pages for DAN (and their phone #) and recording other info.

Good book.

Good book. You will need to keep it protected in a 3-ring binder, or else it would get trashed on trips.
